Meals are well designed, easy to prepare and delicious. It is frustrating to find so many times that ingredients are missing or fresh produce is in unsatisfactory condition or sometimes rotting. Customer service is polite and applies credit to compensate but it defeats the purpose of you have to go buy something as a replacement. I have found this to be a problem across the board with every meal service I have subscribed to so it is not only Green Chef

We’ve been mostly satisfied with our newest green chef subscription. If you are trying to eat strictly vegan it won’t be easy. Several recipes have cheese, and other items for the sauces that have animal products already in them. We are simply removing some of the ingredients for a 1/2 portion of the meals.

We’ve been using Green Chef for a while and are generally very happy with the service. We get three meals a week and deliveries have always been on time and well packaged. The ingredients arrive fresh and the recipes are flavorful and easy to follow. We enjoy the variety and find the meals satisfying. One small thing we’ve noticed is that not all the ingredients are organic, which we expected more consistently. It’s not a major issue for us, but worth mentioning. Overall, Green Chef has been a convenient and enjoyable way to cook at home and we look forward to our meals each week.

My experience with Green Chef was incredibly frustrating and dishonest. The checkout process was misleading, and I immediately called to cancel the service before receiving any product. I was assured multiple times that a refund would be processed, but it never materialized. Despite numerous follow-up calls, each time I was told the refund was being processed, yet it never appeared in my account. To make matters worse, they refused to provide a cancellation number or a confirmation email, leaving me with no proof of my attempts to resolve the issue. This is unacceptable customer service. Save yourself the headache and avoid Green Chef.

Have enjoyed all the meals.

I love being able to order organic meal kits. Originally, I tried a different company. It really bothered me how most of the items were not organic. Oddly enough, another thing I noticed was that my cholesterol dropped when I was on the Greenchef meals and stayed high with the other. Greenchef is a keeper.

I am frustrated with the delivery service. I have had this happen twice where I changed the delivery date and my delivery still came. I would love to switch to a 2 week delivery but that is not an option and I am forced to do this manually which is a pain in the butt! I have had great meals but this may be the demise of the program for me. :/

The food is really good!

Over the last 2 months there have only been 2 minor issues… missing or wrong meal direction cards- but they are on the website so it worked out. Other than that it’s been great!

We’ve tried a few different food services. This is BY FAR our favorite!! Haven’t had a bad meal. It’s restaurant quality. Portions are great also! Highly recommend!!

Easy quick delicious meals

I don’t like the policy regarding refunds only on in discounted meals. I’ve had extra withdrawals from my account t from them.

I love this service. The recipes are easy to follow and taste great. We were trying to eat healthier and as I was researching Mediterranean dishes I came across Green Chef. I thought I’d give it a try. Now I’m hooked! They use organic vegetables which is a must for us, and the flavors are great. They also have top notch customer service!

Again- Green Chef sent something I normally wouldn't try & it was delicious!

The meals are ALWAYS fabulous, and I love that you can earn credits to your account for referring others. I have ordered many times from Green Chef, however, not getting reminder emails a few days in advance has proven problematic for me. I've already given 2 boxes of meals away because I was out of town when they were delivered, and I now have another one full of stuff I won't eat (like tofu). If their system sent out reminders instead of just the receipt, this would have gotten a full 5 star review. UPDATE - Green chef rectified the issue by enabling emails on their end, which nobody has done before, despite 2 other calls. Thank you for good customer service.

It is such a relief to know that I have everything that I need to prepare a delicious meal for my husband and myself. We have been enjoying Green Chef for 4 months now. We hope to continue receiving these meals in the future also. On occasion I have skipped a week and another time we were going on vacation. Not a problem at all! Once we received meals that we did not select and Green Chef made it right with us. We are very satisfied with Green Chef!

Great customer service

Over a 2-month period, 3 of my orders had the wrong food (asked for gluten free), overshipped twice (I ordered 3 meals per week and they sent 6/wk), chatted to customer service who promised a refund on the overshipment, yet it was never issued by GreenChef. I also noticed that food (in particular veggies) rots fast if not used within a few days, which makes me believe that the quality is questionable at best! ... overall, I'd not recommend GreenChef. Too unreliable, poor quality and lying about refund.

Meals are quite good, but the portions are too small.

I love the Green Chef recipes, the quality of the produce and the efficiency of delivery. I love to cook and this introduces new recipes to my weekday repertoire. My husband is picky and he enjoys the variety of Green Chef meal kits.
