Terrible customer service. Can’t cancel my subscription. Regular price box way way overpriced. Food is OK.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Absolutely the worst customer service. I had decided to cancel my subscription and upon doing so they still charged my card after having to call and try to get them to cancel it multiple times. I canceled on the app and was still charged and also called to cancel multiple times. Customer service is rude and will hang up on you. When Asking to speak to a manager or supervisor they will say they don’t have one and will not let you. I wouldn’t recommend their services based on customer service alone. DO NOT order from them if you ever decide to cancel your subscription because it will be a nightmare.
Fresh ingredients. Easy to read instructions. Always tasty. Great customer service.
We love the meals, easy to make, quick week night dinners, convenient, very tasty… but the couple times I have had to actually talk to a person, I could not understand what they were saying. Very thick accents when they speak, & can’t understand them. I understand people need jobs, but for these customer service roles, we need to be able to understand what is being said. The online chat didn’t work very well. Instead of actually chatting with a person, it was clearly a chat bot… very frustrating if you have an issue where you need to talk to someone. That is why we canceled our account.
Meals never delivered - was supposed to be delivered Wednesday.
The recent tilapia with pesto tomato sauce was delicious! I like the organic produce, especially when it is already prepped; washed and cut up. We recently switched from five years with Hello Fresh which we really enjoyed but I decided to look for a more organic product. Well, little did I know that Green Chef is a “sister organization” very similar to Hello Fresh so the switch was very easy and familiar. I am finding that the Green Chef prep is quicker and our choices slightly healthier. We are about five months in and so far it’s very good.

Loved the quality of the food and the easy to follow instructions. Truly loved everything about Green Chef, just can get pricey at times ( understandable with the quality).
Good food, pretty easy to prepare
Recipes have too similar a flavor profile. In one week, there shouldn’t be two Harissa based recipes. More variety in the flavor profile would be a welcome change.
My order was delivered 2 days late, I reached out and said I could not use the meals as I will be on vacation, nobody reached back out to me. Incredibly difficult to get anyone but their virtual assistant to help with anything. Update: Green chef did reach out and fix this problem.

I always enjoy the recipes and meals from Green Chef. I would give 5 stars if there were fewer mistakes. For example, in the thanksgiving package that was sides that are to serve 8-10 people, but only 4 small potatoes were included for the mashed potatoes. I had to go out and purchase two pounds of potatoes to correct this oversight. Two weeks ago, I was missing an integral spice packet. Last month, a pepper. ... ... I want GreenChef to be more diligent about ensuring that meal components are CORRECT EVERY TIME
I generally like the recipes and you have healthier options. I wish we got a reminder before it’s too late to edit & deliveries shipped because there have been a few times I forgot to edit & could t eat the meals that were sent. It’s more expensive than some other meal kits, so when I can’t even eat it, it’s frustrating.
We were sent two bags to make salmon meals. No salmon was included. In addition, we were sent ground pork rather than pork chops. This is not the first time our order was incorrect but I kept hoping service would improve but it hasn’t. I will no longer use your company.

The food is fresh and easy to prepare. The price is good for the amount of food you get. Because the food is healthy and fresh I have loss some weight. I’m very pleased with the service!
The ingredients quality was good and as expected. But the last two boxes were delivered really late in the day and the boxes were slightly damaged.
Lots of missing stuff. Vegetables had gone bad.
Our boxes are continually damaged. We have had 4-5 of our boxes in the initial few months that due to packaging quality and delivery service care have been damaged. This has resulted in weeks without meals or ingredients. Green Chef has done a great job refunding us when issues arise but the general poor box quality and poor packaging inside to protect ingredients needs to be fixed.
