I would avoid this company at all costs. I signed up for vegetarian meals and they sent me meat meals instead. The customer service is pathetic and kept saying the same thing over and over that they can't refund me since the meal was shipped out. No, really? Was I supposed to call before I knew they would send the wrong meal? Then when I am unhappy and asking to cancel the service they have the audacity to ask if I want to change the plan to monthly service instead. Please use AI bots instead of this horrible scripted tone deaf service.

Soggy packaging but delicious food. Changed to Thursday delivery to see if it was a Monday issue.

All of the food is of excellent quality. The recipes are outstanding. Green chef has been such a help to our family. It saves us time looking for ingredients in different grocery stores, and also cuts down on grocery food waste.

What I have said to every single person who has asked me about the meals I now receive and then prepare myself is that I would pay good money for every single one at a high-end restaurant. And that they belong at a high-end restaurant. I honestly don't know how you guys do it. The blend of spices and the way your recipes are teaching me to cook in new and more creative ways are amazing. I am so very grateful and I am eating in a much healthier way thanks to you.

I've utilized a few different food prep delivery services in the past. I honestly feel as though Green Chef is a superior product. The large variety of dinner options each week and the quality of the produce and proteins have been consistently excellent. The flavor of each dish has left us satisfied each time.

The food is so delicious. I can’t think of a way to describe how delicious It is. As a vegan, I’m used to just getting by with my meals but no one eats more delicious than I do with Green Chef. And healthy too

I used two other companies in the past and prefer Green Chef because of the healthy variety of meals to choose from.

The absolute greatest selection of healthy foods. They keep adding and changing meals so that usual boredom doesn’t set in. They have assembled a great group of creative health minded folks- wouldn’t surprise me if they actually consume the meals themselves!

My deliveries are supposed to come on Fridays so I can cook the meals over the weekend for my upcoming work week. The week of New Year, they decided they were going to deliver it on Tuesday, New Year’s Eve instead, which was already 3 days too early & not needed yet, without even asking me. On top of that, the delivery was supposed to be 9:15-11:15am & ended up not coming until after I had to leave for the evening at 6pm for my New Year’s Eve event. I live in a warm state so was worried about it spoiling or someone taking it all night. For this & other issues I’ve had with wrong food being delivered & missing recipes, I’m going to go back to making my own dinners.

Some of the produce was past fresh; eg spinach, and a tomato which was very soft

I love the variety of foods that we get to choose from each week and the ease of knowing I have all the ingredients I need for each meal. The knowledge that I am serving my family healthy, home cooked, non processed, beautiful meals each night is the icing on the the cake.

We love the meals because they're organic and very tasty. One draw back is the vegetables are sometimes damaged by the freezer packs and they send none organic tomatoes at times.

Edit: Maria from the Trust and Safety Team contacted me after receiving this review ave refunded my money. I had tried Green Chef years ago & forgot. That's how my payment info was even there for them to charge. It was a big misunderstanding. I appreciate the understanding & the refund. I've already gotten my money back. Really terrible experience. I was looking over the menu, considering signing up. I did not proceed, as I am not ready to start a meal delivery. I was charged at 230 am for the order, while sleeping I called to cancel account and request a refund. They refused to refund even though it wouldn't be delivered for 5 days. I will not be doing business with them again

The recipes are delicious but the portions are small.

The ingredients are always fresh and top quality. the recipes have introduced me to new food combinations, particularly vegetables, that I have never eaten before. Everything is delicious and easy to prepare.

Food is normally fresh and meals are tasty. Some ingredients don't last long in the fridge and sometimes the bags are missing stuff or are the wrong meal. Overall very good although kind of expensive.
