Being a caregiver, grief strickened by the loss of my husband I found I couldn't take care of myself especially when it came to eating. Taking care of myself through Green Chef has done many things, the first is delicious food, the second is getting me back in the kitchen to cook, it's MOST difficult to cook for one growing up in a large Italian family. I have changed from the option Mediterranean (which was nothing shy of delicious) to plant based and in both categories the food has been delicious, only a few times I felt like there should have been just a bit more ingredients to evenly have for both meals. The other item I want to mention is not wasting any food where before I would shop and end up throwing away food I paid a fortune for only because I lost my passion to eat and cook! This adventure in choices, flavor, thoughtfulness to the environment has sure added joy to my life. THANK YOUUUUU to ALL involved in this process. To those that have worn or will wear my shoes in a loss, please look to Green Chef to help you through this difficult time.

Unfortunately getting to be the same recipes. Should bring back some of the ones from when the subscription was first started. In addition, you are sending us meals with no prep sheet included. Some are consistently missed. Very small stuff, but we do love your service and just some suggestions to look out for. I just wanted to say overall we love your meals. They are easy to make and delicious in taste. We have a new love for certain vegetables and grains we have never eaten before. That is what makes your plan exciting. What is our favorite? Probably anything with Harissa. Chicken or Salmon.

We are not able to always get our meat cooked perfectly. The beef was tough.

My peppers were frozen and unusable.

Same protein ( turkey) on 2 out of my 2 meals Very disappointing Especially in November of all months….Turkey all month

Great quality proteins and always fresh!

The meals come fresh and are tasty and delicious. It does take me about 45 min to an hour to prepare.

veggies like tomatoes are not able to use .. plum tomatoe was bruised in last order and cherry tomatoes where the same in previous order

Great deliver, many options, healthy original recipes. My family does not like sweet meals, majority of the meals have a sweet component that is not always easy to avoid (dates, coconut, etc). I'd also like to have the option to trade out cauliflower, broccoli, rice or potatoes. Example: My 15 year old does not like mashed cauliflower - would sub for potato

Follow up review from them charging my card on an inactive account. I called Green Chef and told the rep to delete my account 100%. The rep said they deleted my account—still on their site. Another false claim.

Too many ice packs(4) makes my box so heavy I can barely carry it. Mostly the food is very delicious. Sometimes it gets redundant. I value organic food above all else . Sometimes my veggies are spoiled.

Unfortunately some of the produce was moldy or going bad. We stopped using another food provider for this same reason. We will be giving Green Chef a chance as this could have been a one-off.

The food is always fresh and tasty. The amount of ingredients is perfect. I have no waste with the packaging. I’m finding it very enjoyable to learn about All the different herbs and spices that can make a ho hum meal delicious!

Love the meals. Two things that make is difficult some evenings - twice the spice packets were missing so I had to make my own seasoning and sometimes there’s a lot of cutting prep. Other than that, the meals are healthy and tasty. We do the gluten free meals and there’s never a lack of flavor.

Recipes are easy to follow and have great flavors. Being able to pick my meals for the week is nice, so I can add more variety or avoid foods that my family won’t eat.
