Overall, I was pleased with my recent meals—three out of four were really good! However, I wanted to share a couple of issues I encountered: One meal included rotten artichokes (cooked on the first day), which I had to replace with my own. Another meal came with a lime that had bruised, rough skin, making it unusable for zesting.

For the month of January I do Vegan. Green Chef has wonderful options for vegan meals.

They didn’t include the pork for the first meal I tried to prepare. Had to run to the grocery store. They credited me the meal but it was an argument to get the credit now rather than APRIL. Second meal today, tried to make the White Bean Chicken Chili. Alas missing the Ancho-cumin spice blend and the ranch seasoning. Called again and they credited a partial amount for the missing items. This was my second time trying them and I am done. You would think a returning customer who had issues before would not have problems this round. They can do better but I don’t have time to run to the store for missing items. Shame on you green chef.

Great meals and good custlmer service. Only complaint is not being able to order two meals a week. Minimum is 3.

Thrilled with the options and products from GreenChef. The couple times I received inferior items, I was immediately refunded the cost of that meal. We’re gluten-free and the number of offerings is just terrific. Many of the recipes are tricky and may take way longer than the stated time, but I enjoy cooking and this hasn’t been an issue for me. The one thing we struggle with is delivery via FedEx. They are terrible about getting the box to me as scheduled, and their updates are rarely correct or complete. The times we have not received the box in a timely manner, GreenChef credited me the cost of the entire shipment.

I love Green Chef! The food is fresh and delicious! I’m not especially excited about the meat quality, seems a little fatty sometimes, and I don’t like the fact that beef is an additional cost. I’m limited with dishes because of allergies, so I feel a little cheated on variety. The customer service is excellent, and I appreciate their fairness when there is an issue. Thank you Green Chef!

All items arrived in good shape. Shipments are well packaged. Last week, the roasted peppers sack leaked but it might have been due to altitude. Sometimes, packages (think chips) will pop due to change in altitude. We're 7,500 feet. We liked all the meals because all ingredients are fresh. Hands down, the Tuscan-spiced shrimp & pesto spinach pasta was our favorite.

Timely deliveries, great meals, superb preparation sheets and good price

One of the meals was missing a component, which was annoying. The other two meals— tilapia, was decent, and the salmon one was tasty.

Food was always delicious but way too much work & prep.

The veggies were old and limp and the Salmon was to thin.

Quality of proteins is excellent! Vegetables are fresh and flavorful. Some of the recipes are a bit redundant with the summer squash, and the roma tomatoes are not typically very ripe, but this service saves me SO much money on groceries It also saves me time spent at the market, time spent deciding on dinner each night, and prep/cook time. As a result, we're eating healthier and saving money. I'm very happy with the meal service in a way I was not with similar, more costly services.

I am ordering this for our children's household and so I don't really get frequent feedback other then its great! This service has taught the kids how to prepare meals and that is incredible. For me I get disappointed that there are not as many organic choices and there is little mention when choosing meals that they are organic, so I feel a bit concerned. I left the last service for the same reason, I want quality food for our family, and organic is predominant on our list of choices, I wish you could assure me that you use organic food for example the rice and the pasta and the veggies etc. If you do that I would never leave you. Honesty here would be so appreciated. Overall we are very impressed with the quality of the food and how well the dishes taste. We’ve wanted to in incorporate more fish into our diets for a long time, but never jumped into it. The fish meals are particularly amazing tasting! Restaurant quality. All the choices feel very healthy, yet fill a person up.

Loving the new menu options and versatility of adjusting number of meals.

Food was delicious. Communication between delivery service and customer is non-existent. That's not O.K. Five stars is for food. Zero star would be for communication.

I like the organic options and the recipes are great. The only complaint i would have is when green leaf veggies are provided they end up freezing with the ice packs and it causes the veggies to get mushy

The meals are tasty and easy to prepare. However, the amount of ingredients provided does not match the photos of the completed dish. I supplement with my own ingredients. Also the pork cutlet pack was leaking and soiled the other items.
