If I could give less than 1 star I would. This property management company is the worst. I had them manage a duplex in the Indy area. There's no local maintenance team, they use subcontractors. There'... See more

I don’t like that I don’t talk to landlord they don’t answer the email fast enough I’m ready to move
They handle business PERIOD!!!
Great Jones is the worst! I was on a business trip, and had not placed a single item for garbage disposal, and recieved a warning that my garbage was errroneously disposed of, ( I had placed nothing at the curb, I was in North Carolina, and texted the airplane tickets to prove such.) I was held responsible for the disposal of patio furniture which was here when I moved in. When, in desparation, I have needed maintanence assistance, no one responded!!! My dishwasher has never worked. A new one was put in, still, no. I was questioned as to why I held garbage in my garbage area, 2 days post removal!!! I will move ASAP and never reccomend
Terrible. Borderline impossible to get to a real human. Work orders are not scheduled within a reasonable timeframe.
Rent continues to rise but no changes to property and the terms on lease are not 100%accurate … if property is listed as electric and water I should not be held responsible for a gas bill. And the rent still raises with the newly added bill. Im a mother of two small children the pricing is very unfair and I do not want to have to leave my home if 3 years. I’ve reached out to speak with a landlord or someone to discuss issues have not heard from anyone yet . The rental company is doing a great job with working with me to help pay the bills but I’m scared for my future. I just feel the rental prices just jump way to much every year
Please reconsider renting with Great Jones. My husband and I had the worst experience ever with them. The house we rented wasn't well built and had cockroaches falling from the vents in the ceiling almost every other day! The house had small holes under cabinets were we encountered 3 mice throughout the 2yrs we stayed in the residence. But wait there's more! After we moved out we had carpet professionally cleaned, yard mowed and appliances cleaned out thoroughly, they charged us $2,000 saying the whole house needed to be re painted 1500 for carpet to be replaced , they charged us $40 for a bathroom mirror which there was no mirror in the bathroom when we moved in so we had to go buy our own mirror out of pocket so I took my mirror when we moved out! They also wanted to charged us $250 for kitchen countertop replacement which there was no damage to! So in total they want to charge us over $5000 for no reason and trying to take our $1600 security deposit. They didn't prorate our last month's rent so we paid that in full so we were owed $263 credit but now the credit isn't on the portal anymore! They are trying to mess us over and we plan on proceeding with legal action. DO NOT RENT THROUGH GREAT JONES!
SO TERRIBLE DO NOT RENT FROM THEM!!! They will not respond to your emails or calls and if you’re lucky enough to get someone on the phone it’s with a third party company that has nothing to do with Greenville and has limited knowledge about any of the properties. Literally the worst rental company in Greenville don’t waste your time.
Horrible company all around. 1. moving in and gave their accounting staff a debit card over the phone to pay for the first months rent, she transposed some numbers and two days later they were charging me a NSF fee. Fought with them for months. 2. They would not notify the owner of property that the water and sewer bill had to stay in owners name. City requested the owner to call to have bills sent to renter. Great Jones never completed this request. It took the owner a year to finally call me to rectify the problem. Great Jones had been billing me for water and sewer even when I was paying the bills. Took them a year to finally correct billing. 3. Predatory billing charges. Called them on the 4th of the month to inform them I would make a late payment for rent on the 8th. I understood a late fee would be added per my contract. They sent a certified letter a day after I made the rent payment and charged $15.00. I was going to make the late fee payment the following week but after calling them again and not having a nice call, I decided not to make the late payment fee. I was not late before that month or after, but they continually charge on their ledger every month an additional late fee. So in essence, a late fee on top of a late fee on top of a late fee. I only owe one late fee? Their ledger shows on time payments and they still charge late fees for each month. They call it first in first out per my calls to them. 4. Latchal their maintenance program is a scam. It doesn't work. They setup appointments, I take time off of work, and then no shows from work orders. This has happened (no lie) 8 times. The last three times the companies they scheduled inspections with I called and was told, "Yes Great Jones called us but nothing was scheduled". Also they confused a request from a plumber to have a structural engineer out before the plumbing company would fix a plumbing issue. They in their infinite wisdom tried to reschedule with the same company to come back for an estimate for repairs, the plumbing company called me and asked if these people are stupid. Everything was already in the estimate. Its been six months and still no repairs. 5. There have been other problems with Great Jones but these are the major issues.
Been renting for about 7 months from them. Easy process love my location and the house hope to continue to rent from them
Very pleased with Great Jones property management. Everything is remotely operated and maintenance issues are handled accordingly.
great Jones needs improvement on customer service and general management
Was told breed restrictions after paying app fee. If they didn't have breed restrictions they wouldn't have so many houses on the market.
My new house started going down 4 days after i moved in. & only one issue has been fixed
Where do I start? First of all, when you apply for a home you see online you can assume it’s already off the market. But trust they’ll still take your application fee and run your credit. Your fee can go to any other home that IS available though so you have to decide if you want to just find another home through them or forfeit that money and have yet another company put an inquiry on your credit. When you do get into a home the price will be like highway robbery. And yes, rent is high with other companies as well but it’s because these hedge funds are coming in and buying all the homes and driving up the price. You are nothing but a rent check to this company. You can never get a hold of anyone or get a clear answer without hounding them for weeks. The people they will send to your house to “fix” issues will probably leave more of a mess than you started with and that’s if they show up at all. Which is really great when you’ve taken a whole day off work to be home for maintenance. I could go on and on about how much I really don’t love renting from GJ but honestly nothing will ever make them decide to become a decent company. They own half of the homes in my community, so what really can you do?
I have no complaints. The overall experience was great! Looking forward to continue to work with you all. Thanks
Over charging for a house not properly restored and constantly having issues since we have moved in.
Pasquale was pretty great during the whole process, but it is a little tricky getting a hold of someone on the phone. Thankfully Pasquale was quick to respond to email. Hopefully communication gets a little better during the move in process.
Laura is the best property manager she’s on top of everything I absolutely love her and now I love this house too. Thank you guys for taking care of any and every issue and making things great for me and my family.
Move in process was flawless. My move in team and agent were always willing to communicate… Maintenance issues that I have are answered immediately… great experience so far
