If I could give less than 1 star I would. This property management company is the worst. I had them manage a duplex in the Indy area. There's no local maintenance team, they use subcontractors. There'... See more

Great Jones is located in Dallas, TX. They buy up distressed properties across the south and give them a cosmetic face lift. They do not put up signs and the only place you will ever see the properties they manage is on their website. It rare to see a real employee. MY EXPERIENCE @ Warner Robins, GA I have a low credit score so hoping to avoid the typical goat rope I wanted to deal directly with an owner who may be willing to give a second chance to a deserving family. I checked Craigslist and Facebook Market Place. I found a house on Craigslist and made an appointment to see the property. When I arrived there was a Rently lock box on the door but I was instructed to use a key on top of the porch light instead of going through Rently. But the key didn’t work, so the “owner” did something on his end and I received a Rently invitation to view the property. Upon accepting I received a code for the lock box. I went in and everything was just as the pictures showed. The “owner” sent me a lease agreement via email and I gave him deposit and first months rent $1,950 via ZELLE. I moved in and the same day another person opened the door and walked in on me with a key. He was just as astonished say he too had signed a lease and paid deposit and first months lease through Rently. Shortly after another gentleman showed up saying he represented Great Jones Property Management with a demand letter for me to vacate the property. After showing them proof that I had a lease they promptly informed me I had been scammed. They said they would try to work with me to stay in the house but I first had to apply through their website and pay a $50 app fee. They said they worked with people with credit scores as low as 500. So I did as instructed. Three days latter I was sent another demand letter to vacate the property. I am 67 years old and I am raising 3 of my grandchildren. My Equifax score is 525. Low but there are extenuating circumstances related to Covid closures. In hindsight, I think the scam owner actually worked for Great Jones and it all was a big ruse. The so called owner knew too much about the house and had enough information that Rently.com sent me a code on his request. BE AWARE of GREAT JONES!!!!! BE AWARE of USING ZELLE or similar. There is little recourse to recovery of funds.
I moved in a Great Jones home in April 2020 and I regret it soo much now. These people should not be allowed to buy anymore property because they do not keep up with the property, they basically want you to be responsible for everything like you own the home yourself! They don’t even know how the properties look because they don’t go and inspect the houses themselves, and who ever go in and inspect these properties need to be fired because they not doing their job right at all. They have the worst communication ever and do not respond to your emails accordingly. The home I moved into did not have window screens up to most of the windows or screens to the doors up and when I asked if they were going to put some up they said no and if I put them up I would have to remove them before I moved out. They are very slack the house had electrical problems and my fridge went out and I didn’t get another one for a whole month. Some of my food went bad and they refused to replace it. The yard had a lot of trees and they were falling all around the yard and they even fell over into my neighbors yard and pulled down his line for his Wi-Fi and electrical line and they refused to pay the man for him to get his service restored. These people are the worst and to top it off when I moved out April 2022 they are trying to charge me basically remodel their home and are refusing to give me my deposit money back and I taking them to court because it’s a shame I ends have to go that far, so I am Warning people right now to not rent from these people because they don’t care about nothing but getting their money off you!!!!
Great experience I’ve had a wonderful experience with Great Jones as all of the customer reps were very helpful and Mr. Pasquale the leasing officer was amazing . He understands and does everything he can to make sure he can help everyone . His response time was fast and effective and he help me land my home. Great jones is awesome ❤️
Absolutely The Worst! They managed my property for two years when I moved out of state. Now, after thousands of dollars in repairs, I find that they have never seen the place. Not even a drive-by inspection. After several notices from the city for garbage and lawn issues, I find that the beautiful house I left in their care has been severely damaged. Some of the damage is from their own vendors that were supposed to do repairs. Even the pool was green while paying them for pool service. Homeowners - RUN AWAY from this mis-management company.
Thank you to Michael Weiss!!!!!! I’ve been looking for the perfect home from Birmingham to a Columbus and I’m so happy I can call this one home! Amazing expedition and amazing flexible requirements! Rhino is awesome!
Pasquale has made this process so incredibly easy and I cannot thank him enough. Working with them was an absolute dream and I would recommend them to anyone needing help with a Great Jones rental in our area. Pasquale really shows the quality values of this company.
Slumlords!!! You cannot communicate with them over the telephone only through emails or their website that never works. If something happens in your home that you are renting you better be prepared to fix it yourself and be out the money because you can never get anything fixed. The house was not clean when we moved in and we had to remove the previous tenors items ourselves and clean the house ourselves isn't that a current covid violation? The yard is a jungle front and back covered in Poison ivy and miscellaneous items that are hidden to which ourselves and our animals have all been injured from and they refuse to pay our medical bills. Doors that don't fit properly and therefore don't close properly. A walkway in front porch that are falling apart that they keep coming and patching so that it's about six different colors and is not a fix as it keeps falling apart and is an ADA violation as it's not wide enough. The air ducts had been repaired with duck tape and not duct tape - there is a huge difference. We also discovered damprid in half a dozen air vents that have been in there so long green mold was growing in it. Window blinds that don't fit the window because nobody knows what a tape measure is. Profanity pressure washed into the driveway that they refuse to remove. Blinds that are falling apart that they refuse to move remove. Electrical issues that they have ignored that we had an electrician fixed ourselves and I could go on and on and on for days basically their slumlords and don't give a crap. They say they're on their way out to repair something but NEVER show up, never call, radio silence.
If I could give negative 5 stars I would. This is a horrific slum Lord company that preys on innocent, working people and families. They flipped the house next to me and rented it out with HORRIBLE mold problems that were just painted over, not treated. The family that moved in 2 months ago is already moving out because the mold was coming through the floors and paint and growing on their belongings. There was NO WATER and NO GAS when they moved in, the company put it on the market without ever checking to see if it worked after the house was sitting abandoned for 15 years. Horrible horrible company
I have reported problems with the AC unit not working properly, in over 90 degree weather, over 24 hours ago, and there is no service provider assigned yet!! I have reported mold in the attic, and no response!! There are trees hanging over the roof of this house that is going to damage the roof, and TREE SERVICES ARE NOT YARD WORK. I cannot even park my car in the driveway due to the tree overgrowth that has not been maintained in YEARS. I paid over a $1000 in the first two months to get YEARS of yard work and extermination services done that had been neglected by this property management company just to be able to live in this house. Update: I moved into this house on March 12, 2022. The trees in this yard are nearly twice as tall as the house and have not been pruned in YEARS. These greedy people are stupid enough to want to allow their tenants to cut trees that are hanging over their rooftop. They did finally say they would have someone come out and check the ONE TREE, not all three trees, and IF it is rotting they would have it cut down, but otherwise they think I will be responsible. The Magistrate told me to absolutely not touch the large trees that are threatening the structure of the home. NOTHING BUT GREED!!! The company cannot seem to find an AC repair in SC to come out to this home in less than 11 days... ABSOLUTELY INCOMPETENT!! SC has more AC repair services than you can shake a stick at! They were informed the moment I placed the work order that I have a nervous system condition that is made much worse in heat, and marked the work order as "Urgent" but did not even assign a service provider for two days, and then scheduled the appointment for June 23rd... and told me to turn the unit off until then. They expect me to live in this home for 11 days with the temperature rising to over 100 degrees. They apparently want to kill me!! The yard is completely dead from no outside water source, and they said, "we will not install an outdoor irrigation system"... What in god's name are these fools talking about??? I said I need a FAUCET. These greedy people are again trying to get me to take on the liability of changes to this structure that no tenant should ever take on, and that they do not care that the environment for the tenant and the whole community is negatively impacted by a rotting dead yard shows exactly who they are!!! GREEDY TO THE BONE!! They do not care about the property or the community and they absolutely do not care about the tenant or the pets in the home!! Telling me it is my responsibility to take care of the yard and the extermination in the yard, while they make that UTTERLY IMPOSSIBLE TO DO BY NOT SUPPLYING AN OUTDOOR WATER SOURCE!!! There is also no outdoor electrical source that allows a tenant to properly attend to the property! The home is infested with large spiders that I have been bitten by four times in the past two weeks. The home is infested by spiders because the tree limbs have been hanging over the roof for years. The attic has molded insulation and the crawl space has not been exterminated in YEARS. This is their idea of MOVE-IN READY!! It is nothing but greedy people trying to steal money to update their property at the expense of their tenants!! They have yet to schedule anyone to look at the "tree" or repair the MOLD in the attic. THE WORST CASE OF GREED AND CUSTOMER SERVICE ON GOD'S GREEN EARTH!! Unless you want to have to pay to file an injunction with the Magistrate to dissolve the lease and live in unhealthy, substandard conditions for a high price tag, DO NOT DO BUSINESS OF ANY KIND WITH THIS COMPANY!!
Was sent a email a y 11 pm stating that they not renewing my lease and I have 80 days to get out. No reason and will not communicate. Paid rent on time no issues.
I recently got an email from great jones property manager saying my lease is being terminated and it will not be renewed. I've been trying to contact them regarding the notice but no reply back, Noone answers the phone, tried texting. I'm trying to ask what the reason is. I have always been a good, respectful tenant. No communication.
My experience has been great working with Great Jones. I've been working with Pasquale. He is definitely very helpful, considerate and quick! Once the ball gets rolling, the responses are on time and business Is taken care of.💖 He is ready to get you in! Thanks Pasquale!
I am totally confused did any of you guys have to pay a hold fee through cash pay at a local store ?
I had applied for a home with Great Jones over three months ago and they did not approve me for a reason that I told them that I was never evicted and it's not fair that something like that could go on someone's record when they were still living in the home paying rent on time and there's an eviction on their record for 7 years so they disqualify me from getting a home with them and I have applied with them several times trying to talk to them let them know what's going on tried to give them proof of everything that I did not owe any back rent I didn't not do any damages to the home I just was trying to get a home for me and my kids
Great service.
I'm very happy that someone had recommended Great Jones to manage my property. I had a terrible experience with my previous company, where as Great Jones is a very professional run organization. So far, I've had great experience and I highly recommend them to any investors looking for a property management company for their real estate investment.
Thanks to Indy office for collecting 3 month worth of overdue rent for me. Jessica is so experienced and knowledgeable, I am very impressed!
Great company to rent from have been really helpful .
I was looking for houses for rent in a neighborhood I’m VERY FAMILIAR with. I seen a house they were renting that I seen a thousand times already and immediately decided to go try to check it out. Why when I go to the house it’s already OCCUPIED!!! Luckily I didn’t give them any of my personal information except for my email address. Then a completely different house that I know for a fact was occupied was also put up for rent online by them. Then when you call about issue nobody can get in touch with you. You gotta deal with dumb ass computers.
