It is so, so valuable as a customer to actually get helpful customer services from an energy company. Having a named individual respond very promptly to enquiries is exactly what you will get with Good Energy. I have had the pleasure of having support from Olayemi and Lou recently. Requested a refund from my account. Received a very quick reply presumably from a robot/automated system, confirming the request and ststing when the refund would be with me. Sounds great!
I needed to sort out a range of queries about my solar panels related to selling the house and McLean of Home team A was terrific.
I have been with Good Energy (GE) since I had my PV installed about 12 years ago. Whenever I have had to contact them, and it is not often, the customer service has always been outstanding. Today I noticed via the GE app that FIT meter was suspended. I thought this might be because they needed a photo on my meter. Being a Saturday, I contacted them via email with a photo, and thought I might get a reply sometime next week. However, within minutes, four to be precise, I got a response saying my photo had been accepted as proof and my meter account was now off hold. This was dealt with by Gifty A. So whoever you are thanks for great service.
Lou, Jannice and Johnny provided me with excellent information looking back to the year 2021. They were quick with their response and incredibly helpful to settle matters. I recommend the team at Good Energy.

Whenever I contact Good Energy customer service I always get a fast response which isn't just an acknowledgement, but shows that the responder has read the email carefully. In this case it was Juliana who replied to my request to review my account and give me a refund. She sorted all the administration within 24 hours from my email.
We recently lost track of our meter readings and Good Energy was able to establish that it was a malfunction of our gas meter, so we were unable to send manual meter readings to them. Shanice was able to arrange a replacement meter installation for us at a convenient slot within four working days. Whenever I have contacted Good Energy I have always had really good service. Today I spoke to McLean who was very helpful and dealt with my query in a courteous and efficient way. This was followed up quickly with an email to confirm an appointment with an engineer to fix the problem. Thank you.

Every Spring I receive a message telling me that my DD will be increased. I write back to say I do not want an increase since I am not in debt. I always receive a kind and polite response to confirm that my DD will stay the same. This year the email came from Juliana.

My husband recently passed away and he was the Feed in Tariff account holder with Good Energy. On contacting them to inform them I spoke to Connor who was very sympathetic and kind and talked me through the process necessary for me to take over the account. This proved to be rather a long process completing forms on line and uploading documents of which I am new to. Connor was very patient and understanding with me and finally the account has now been transferred to me. Thank you Connor for all your help through a difficult time.
Smart meter installation - Roisin at Good Energy made the whole process very easy and the installation of the smart meter went without a hitch. Good communication throughout. Having one person manage the process at Good Energy made such a difference. It's a shame other energy suppliers don't dedicate a single person to this task it would make it a lot better if they did!
