I recently flew Porter fr NB to ONT…

I recently flew Porter fr NB to ONT and booked my flights through airmiles to help ease the cost of the trip for my son’s sports tournament. I booked basic as I didn’t want any frills; however, clearly didn’t read the fine print as we were not allowed a carry on. After arriving at airport, since I booked by a third party, we were forced to pay approximately $50 per bag per way!! That added an additional $200 to our already expensive trip. I fully understand now that it was listed in the fine print when I booked, shame in me for not reading it more clearly, but who does. Who would travel with a child for 3 nights with no luggage. This should be flagged somehow. Had I known I had to pay for my flight plus additional carryon fees….I would have drove. I chose Porter as it was highly recommended and cheaper. I will not fly with them again!

Lost luggage

I traveled from Thunder Bay, On to Quebec City june 4th. When we arrived in Toronto, some people stayed on the plane because they were going to Montreal but I was getting off to connect to another flight going to Quebec City. When we got to Quebec City, I did not get my luggage I talked to an agent and he told me to go at Porter's check in #113 that they would help me but there was nobody there. I waited for one hour and still nothing a lady working for another airline company told me to call Porter. I called customer service and they told me there was no way they could trace my luggage to write to Central baggage. I wrote to them and received an email saying they would process my request within the next 14 business days. Unacceptable.. I called customer service and they told me that this department was closed for the weekend I was devastated I had clothes for a two-week vacation, my medication, hair dryer, hair straightener, brushes, make up, perfume, shoes gifts for my grand children, all lost. This absolutely ruined my vacation. Hopefully Porter will compensate me for the money I had to pay to buy clothes for the next two weeks. This is unacceptable... I come from another province and I could not get any medication because I do not have my prescription with me...I've been waiting for a year for this vacation and now it's ruined. Not every one has money to buy everything needed for two weeks plus I was going 6 hours away from Quebec city, I needed to rent a car but because of these expenses I couldn't so had to have a friend drive me it was less expensive..Hoping to hear back from them today.

I'm giving it one star because they… work with scammers.

I'm giving it one star because they allow fraud agents like mytrip.com to sell their tickets. I bought two tickets through mytrip.com last November and had to cancel them the same day. Porter told me that they fully refunded the ticket amount to the agent but we can not get the refund from Mytrip.com. Please stop working with scammers.

I booked two flights on Porter for Aug…

I booked two flights on Porter for Aug 14 and 15 2021 through Expedia. Porter cancelled the flights due to COVID in July and I have been fighting since then to get a refund. Today Expedia has confirmed that Porter will not give me a refund. I am furious and will never fly with Porter again or book through Expedia!!!

Lasting impression ...

As a first time flyer of Porter Airlines I experienced the most cordial and hazzle free transport in going to and coming back from my destination. The ground and flight crews were all very helpful in meeting my needs (a senior traveller needing wheelchair assist). Porter offers an easy to the pocket air fairs. Would highly recommend taking this flight.

Porter Airlines: Good Rates, Great Service That Never Disappoints

Porter Airlines offers good rates, a great selection and excellent customer service. The team's uniforms are classy, a nod to the way flying used to be and we were impressed with their attention to details. Every time we fly Porter, they never disappoint.
