Lost luggage
I traveled from Thunder Bay, On to Quebec City june 4th. When we arrived in Toronto, some people stayed on the plane because they were going to Montreal but I was getting off to connect to another flight going to Quebec City. When we got to Quebec City, I did not get my luggage I talked to an agent and he told me to go at Porter's check in #113 that they would help me but there was nobody there. I waited for one hour and still nothing a lady working for another airline company told me to call Porter. I called customer service and they told me there was no way they could trace my luggage to write to Central baggage. I wrote to them and received an email saying they would process my request within the next 14 business days. Unacceptable.. I called customer service and they told me that this department was closed for the weekend I was devastated I had clothes for a two-week vacation, my medication, hair dryer, hair straightener, brushes, make up, perfume, shoes gifts for my grand children, all lost. This absolutely ruined my vacation. Hopefully Porter will compensate me for the money I had to pay to buy clothes for the next two weeks. This is unacceptable... I come from another province and I could not get any medication because I do not have my prescription with me...I've been waiting for a year for this vacation and now it's ruined. Not every one has money to buy everything needed for two weeks plus I was going 6 hours away from Quebec city, I needed to rent a car but because of these expenses I couldn't so had to have a friend drive me it was less expensive..Hoping to hear back from them today.
