Reliable citation tool
Been using this for three years now and it rarely lets me down. The automatic citation formatting for different journals is a huge time-saver. Wish the mobile app was more robust though.

Love being able to share libraries with my research team. Makes collaborative writing so much smoother when everyone's using the same reference database.

Yes, it's expensive, but EndNote has been the gold standard in academic circles for years. The depth of citation styles available is unmatched, and it integrates with virtually every database I use for research.

I've been using EndNote for my PhD research and it's been absolutely invaluable. The citation management is seamless and integrates perfectly with Word. Sometimes the sync can be slow between devices, but overall it saves me hours of formatting work.
Works well enough, though I'm not sure it's significantly better than Zotero to justify the cost. The customer support is responsive when issues arise.
Functionally it works fine, but the user interface looks like it's from 2005. For the price point, I expected something more modern and intuitive.
Had some technical issues during setup, but their support team was incredibly helpful and patient. The software itself is powerful once you learn how to use it properly. Definitely recommend for serious researchers.
Took me a few weeks to get comfortable with all the features, but now I can't imagine doing research without it. The PDF annotation feature is particularly helpful for keeping track of important quotes and findings.
Managing 200+ sources for my dissertation would have been impossible without EndNote. The search and organization features are excellent. Occasionally crashes when handling very large libraries, but auto-save usually prevents data loss.
Does what it promises but the subscription cost adds up. Works well for organizing references.
Gets the job done for basic citation management. The PDF import feature is hit or miss - sometimes it captures metadata perfectly, other times I have to manually enter everything.
The core functionality is solid, but I constantly have problems with syncing between my laptop and office computer. Sometimes references just disappear and I have to manually re-add them.

EndNote receives a generally positive reception, with many reviewers praising its powerful citation management features and excellent customer support. Users appreciate the extensive range of citation styles and the software's ability to handle large research projects effectively. Collaboration features also receive commendation, making it easier for research teams to share libraries. However, several customers express frustration with the outdated interface, which they feel detracts from the overall user experience. Syncing issues are another common complaint, with some users reporting lost references and slow performance. While the software is recognized as an industry standard, some reviewers question whether its high cost is justified compared to free alternatives.
