Used Enact to remortgage. Pretty smooth process, kept informed throughout. Got a response via the messaging option when needed and got through on the phone every time I called. Would use Enact again.
Have just remortgaged and Enact looking after me all the way through the transaction, and helped me throughout the whole process. Would highly recommend them. Very helpful and great communication from them.
Everyone was so helpful, answered any queries immediately and kept me up to date every step of the way on what was happening

My experience with Enact was extremely disappointing. A straightforward case was turned into a drawn-out, stressful ordeal due to a series of preventable errors and poor communication. Firstly, completion was delayed by a week because I was given the wrong advice about how to cover a shortfall — something that should have been clear and routine. When the second completion date was set, that too was delayed, this time due to lack of communication from my caseworker. I ended up doing all the chasing myself — contacting the lender directly, coordinating updates, and repeatedly asking Enact to upload one document, which they took far too long to do. It was exhausting, especially when I was supposed to be supported through this process. For what should have been a simple transaction, the experience became unnecessarily difficult and emotionally draining. I would not recommend Enact based on this experience.
The whole process was made very simple to follow. They kept me informed at every stage, removing any concerns that I had. A pleasure to work with & I'd recommend to everyone.
Recently remortgaged and Enact managed this process for me. Overall very good and the portal worked fine, only area which would have worked more efficiently would be for the portal to email you when there was a change or request to do something, but otherwise very good overall service.
Harry my Case handler was courteous always had good knowledge and provided me with answers that I needed regarding my remortgage. He was professional, knowledgeable and the whole team were very efficient.
Each step was straight forward and easy to navigate the website. The process from start to finish was stress free.

They literally had one job to do and complete the re-mortgage transaction today. They promised, we paid for same day money transfer, and they failed. Everyone borrows money for a purpose and now we have missed out on our subsequent opportunity. Not only would I urge everyone reading this to not use them, but I will be taking this to their regulatory and professional bodies.
Slow to respond, asking for documents to be sent late in the process (having already been sent them months before). Barely reply to emails or request for call backs. Don’t provide sufficient details for redemption amounts. Avoid.
Did what they said they would do. I spoke to them a couple of times but all parts of the transaction process were efficient.
Enact were very efficient and I was able to contact them easily when I needed to. They kept in touch all the way through my re-mortgage.

Smooth and efficient process
Enact are acting on behalf of the lender. They have requested a deed of variation of the management company, but are very slow to articulate what is required and very slow to respond to questions. A process that was supposed to take 6 weeks has already taken 10 weeks. I have a deadline in 2 weeks that will cost me £1000 if missed. I have no confidence in this legal firm. All I can do is cross my fingers and hope !
