Ecoplex Energy is exceptionally well-rated by customers. Customers particularly appreciate service and professional, though some mention concerns about customer service and communication.
The company are extremely frustrating to deal with with poor customer service. Calls not going through and not answering emails. Called out to install but short cable and no reinstallation date. I'm at the stage I'm looking to cancel and get deposit back.
Zero customer service when things went wrong, which they did. Instillation delayed and then didn't turn up on day of installation. Once system was installed, it wasn't working, they insisted it was until I paid for an independent electrician to come and confirm that it wasn't working. Unable to get on the phone despite many attempts. They didn't submit the NC6 form for over a month AFTER installation, after I had to remind them. So many emails just ignored, staff were rude when they did respond. Had to pay for a second time for an electrician to come and fix work they said was fine.
Fantastic Service & Products, 2 week turn around from survey and quote now up and running. From the outset the guys were top notch, Professional, knoweldagable, and friendly. We were so happy with the price also Ecoplex don't charge you the €1800 from SEAI they chase all all that up for you, so no chasing the SEAI for your grant. The guys on site we're excellent from Roofers to the Electricians and great communication from head office. All in all a great experience with a price to match.
Had Solar panels with storage battery and Eddy (water heating system) included. Excellent service, workmen were polite and tidied up after themselves also. Had a few teething problems at first, and even though we are in Wexford, someone was sent down as quickly as possible. We are now reaping the awards, happy days. I’d have no hesitation in recommending this company.

Everything went better than planned for my installation as they arrived 3 weeks earlier than the due date. The installers and electricians arrived at the designated time and completed the work within 4 hrs. NOW the reason for the 3 star review is their follow up. Ger the salesman told me the BER would be in the following week after the install but that didn’t happen. I had to ring Ger on the third week to ask when the BER guy was going to call, within 3 day I got the call from the company to say they would be on the following Monday which he did and completed his assessment. The electrician in charge of the installation sat in front of me on the installation day and told me he was sending off the details of the NC6 form to get FIT. I discovered this week when I got my electric bill that I was not on the system. I contacted the ESB who assured me that they did not receive any form regarding my NC6. I in turn contacted Ecoplex who told me that it had been submitted but I said it had not been submitted, the lady then went on a sob sob story that people were on holidays and out sick and had to take on three new staff etc. My long winded rant is that once you pay them you are forgotten about unless you keep after them. I also discovered that my BER will not be completed for at least 2 weeks, so no grant payable for a few months. It is disappointing that you have to follow up on something that should be taken for granted would be done as a matter of course for each job. It has taken the gloss off my opinion of the company and would be slow in recommending them to anyone in the future.

Everything started out well. Sales team good, came when they were supposed to. Quote came in a timely manner. Installation team done in a day. All nice lads. 2 months down the line no progress on the grant application. I have given them everything they need. They have confirmed they have all the docs but nothing submitted. Told the new girl was up to May which would have covered me and that it would have been down last week. Lies. Jennifer has stopped replying to emails. I have called the phone line and been hung up on before the phone even connects. Shocking aftersales service. I have been onto the SEAI directly about them now. As I said everything up until this point has been good but this is awful service.

Recently had Ecoplex install solar panels at my home and was thoroughly impressed with their exceptional service. From start to finish the entire process was efficient. Job completed within the estimated timeframe, highly recommend!

Had solar panels and an EV charger installed. Found them easy to deal with, operators arrived on time, were friendly and did not leave a mess. Required some assistance post install due to change in position of charger and found the service very good. Would use again.

I had Ecoplex supply and install a 16 panel system and battery, the lads were very professional and efficient, in and out in one day. We’re very helpful in explaining the app. Would definitely recommend their service, made everything so easy with the grant process.

I had my solar done with Ecoplex a while ago now. The team were efficient and helpful. I did have an issue with the app but the after care service sorted that out, no problem. I would recommend them.
