No after sales service
Everything went better than planned for my installation as they arrived 3 weeks earlier than the due date. The installers and electricians arrived at the designated time and completed the work within 4 hrs. NOW the reason for the 3 star review is their follow up. Ger the salesman told me the BER would be in the following week after the install but that didn’t happen. I had to ring Ger on the third week to ask when the BER guy was going to call, within 3 day I got the call from the company to say they would be on the following Monday which he did and completed his assessment. The electrician in charge of the installation sat in front of me on the installation day and told me he was sending off the details of the NC6 form to get FIT. I discovered this week when I got my electric bill that I was not on the system. I contacted the ESB who assured me that they did not receive any form regarding my NC6. I in turn contacted Ecoplex who told me that it had been submitted but I said it had not been submitted, the lady then went on a sob sob story that people were on holidays and out sick and had to take on three new staff etc. My long winded rant is that once you pay them you are forgotten about unless you keep after them. I also discovered that my BER will not be completed for at least 2 weeks, so no grant payable for a few months. It is disappointing that you have to follow up on something that should be taken for granted would be done as a matter of course for each job. It has taken the gloss off my opinion of the company and would be slow in recommending them to anyone in the future.
