We hide A Renault small SUV for four days in it done approximately 4000 K, so was in good condition. The only annoying factor was a rattle in the drivers door. The service at the counter was good and fast as was the shuttle to the airport The right was okay cheaper than most but like everything these days too expensive. The only other negative comment that I would make is that their shuttle service only goes between their base and the airport. They don’t pick up or drop off at hotels. I know a lot of higher car companies only do that these days but Some will do the hotel pick up and return.
Best rental company in Melbourne
I have been using ECCR every time I travel to Melbourne. The experience was always great on the previous occasions and this time was no exception. Staff were friendly and quick and we got our two cars within 20 minutes. As we chose zero liability the staff did not even go through the cars with us and told us to just drive off. Returning was a breeze also. Just handed the keys to a guy after we parked and all good.
East Coast Cars is a great service and I'll use them again.
I've never used East Coast Cars before and so it was a gamble. I couldn't have been happier. From the pick up at the aiport to collection of the car, and then drop off and lift back 6 days later, I couldn't rate it highly enough. We ended up with what I think is a better car than I had booked (Mitsubishi ASX instead of a MG ZS). The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient, with clear communication on how to find the pick up point at the airport and also the drop off procedure. It was a great price for a great service and I will definitely use them again.

Don't go past East Coast for car rentals
From their updated app with the clearest instructions I have ever received, to the driver who happened to pick us up and drop us off at the airport after handing back the car, the whole experience was seamless, professional and easy to navigate. Well done, East Coast!

The staff at the Marcoola branch were excellent. I had made a reservation via website and no issues when I went into collect car. They also put in two car seats that I had forgotten to book. That was appreciated. The car was great too! Easy to drive.

GREAT TEAM AND GREAT VALUE
I have used ECCR several times. Adelaide branch are very helpful. The pickup is prompt and its 3 minutes to the depot. The drivers are friendly and informative. The cars are spotless and I requested the same model the following week- which they did for me. Great value too.

service provided at collection was very good. The courtesy drivers were also very good. the car was clean and readily available. two issues. 1. very difficult to locate the pick up point as the car is a few kilometers off site (as is the office). telephone calls were not much help, but another company told us we were in the right location for pick up. 2. we paid additional insurance through booking.com (as we have with previous other car rental companies), however, East Coast rentals wanted us to make a payment through them (even though we had already paid the extra). there amount was more than the car rental. I declined and noted any damage was a $4000 excess and I had to pay $1000 deposit on my card. They said any accidents, i would be liable for the above and have to contact booking .com if I needed to make a claim. We could have used a different car rental company and would not have had this hassle.

Good renting car
I did not had issues renting from this company. The only a bit negative was I don’t think MG are good cars and they have lots of them in their fleet. Also there was a leather saloon (or similar) and in Melbourne it was 30+ degrees so my t-shirt was constantly wet. But still, great service, the car was not perfect but was good.

Every single person we came into contact with at your company was lovely and went out of their way for us, from the drivers to and from the airport, to the people at the car hire shop.
