We hide A Renault small SUV for four days in it done approximately 4000 K, so was in good condition. The only annoying factor was a rattle in the drivers door. The service at the counter was good and fast as was the shuttle to the airport The right was okay cheaper than most but like everything these days too expensive. The only other negative comment that I would make is that their shuttle service only goes between their base and the airport. They don’t pick up or drop off at hotels. I know a lot of higher car companies only do that these days but Some will do the hotel pick up and return.
Best rental company in Melbourne
I have been using ECCR every time I travel to Melbourne. The experience was always great on the previous occasions and this time was no exception. Staff were friendly and quick and we got our two cars within 20 minutes. As we chose zero liability the staff did not even go through the cars with us and told us to just drive off. Returning was a breeze also. Just handed the keys to a guy after we parked and all good.
East Coast Cars is a great service and I'll use them again.
I've never used East Coast Cars before and so it was a gamble. I couldn't have been happier. From the pick up at the aiport to collection of the car, and then drop off and lift back 6 days later, I couldn't rate it highly enough. We ended up with what I think is a better car than I had booked (Mitsubishi ASX instead of a MG ZS). The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient, with clear communication on how to find the pick up point at the airport and also the drop off procedure. It was a great price for a great service and I will definitely use them again.

Good experience
Great service, reliable car at a good price. We hired for two weeks and travelled around Tasmania. Go the zero excess option for peace of mind, it doesn't add alot and the total cost is still good.

Thanks my friend for recommending this car rental company to me. I rented the i30 for 6days . It was a fab!!! Easy to manoeuvre . Everything ‘s fine. Car was clean. Also, highly recommended to buy the full cover insurance when you pick up the car for peace of mind just in case. Staff were friendly and helpful. Also, there is a petrol station right next to the car rental centre so it’s very convenient to fill up the fuel before returning your car.

There is a maze out there.. simplify with East Coast
Once I stumbled into the East Coast Car Rentals option after wasting time on couple of "inefficient and pricey duds" on my computer, things were falling into place. From the Adelaide Airport the Shuttle Bus ride was fast and smooth, the paperwork was a learning curve - but Mark went out of his way to explain the intricacies - and after all this our little car kept going well for all the 5 days, the drop off went very smoothly, including shuttling back to the airport and overall we are recommending and planning to directly use East Coast again. Thank You Team, great work!

Friendly, helpful staff made this car hire pick up and later drop off a breeze. Girl on reception was just lovely. Sorry I didn't get your name! Quick airport transfer and we were treated to a stand up comedy routine from the chatty driver! Good laugh.

Everything was quick and easy
Everything was quick and easy. We arrived at airport, clicked on the link that was texted to me and a shuttle bus qas there within 2 minutes, arrived at eastcoast and the gentleman who assisted us ( forfot his name) was super helpful, super friendly and excellent service was given. We had our hire car within 10 minutes of arriving and we were on our way. Highly recommend eastcoast, car was perfect for us. And on return the drop off was easy to return and we were on the shuttle bus all within 10 minutes and back at the airport. All staff are friendly, helpful and give excellent customer service.

Renting a car in Sydney
The first car issued did not have all of the lights working, however they were quick to provide another car instead. I did not have issues with the car. I did have issues with my E-tag toll, which meant that I was charged for all toll charges WITH an extra $1.60/toll charge. It would have been fairer to collate the total and charge one administration fee (instead of several). I am frustrated that my e-tag didn't work, given it was on the dashboard! This was compounded byu the very confusing and badly organised Sydney Harbour Bridge/tunnel road signs. NSW/Sydney Government and Roads need reprimanding for that diabolical mess. It is awful as a tourist.
