We hide A Renault small SUV for four days in it done approximately 4000 K, so was in good condition. The only annoying factor was a rattle in the drivers door. The service at the counter was good and fast as was the shuttle to the airport The right was okay cheaper than most but like everything these days too expensive. The only other negative comment that I would make is that their shuttle service only goes between their base and the airport. They don’t pick up or drop off at hotels. I know a lot of higher car companies only do that these days but Some will do the hotel pick up and return.
Best rental company in Melbourne
I have been using ECCR every time I travel to Melbourne. The experience was always great on the previous occasions and this time was no exception. Staff were friendly and quick and we got our two cars within 20 minutes. As we chose zero liability the staff did not even go through the cars with us and told us to just drive off. Returning was a breeze also. Just handed the keys to a guy after we parked and all good.
East Coast Cars is a great service and I'll use them again.
I've never used East Coast Cars before and so it was a gamble. I couldn't have been happier. From the pick up at the aiport to collection of the car, and then drop off and lift back 6 days later, I couldn't rate it highly enough. We ended up with what I think is a better car than I had booked (Mitsubishi ASX instead of a MG ZS). The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient, with clear communication on how to find the pick up point at the airport and also the drop off procedure. It was a great price for a great service and I will definitely use them again.

It took me a lot of time to get…
It took me a lot of time to get somebody answer the phone call. When I arrived the office, there were already 5 customers there to pick up the car and it took me to wait for half an hour before I got the customer service. Staff were friendly and explained in detail. It will be better if the company can improve its efficiency.

Excellent service and value for money
The service at both pick up and drop off was impeccable: prompt, polite, and efficient. The car was clean and tidy, and everything just worked. :) The price was very reasonable. The premises are close to Melbourne Airport, and easy to find. The shuttle service is frequent during the declared hours.

Free upgrade car
When I picked up the compact car, the EC staff noticed the malfunction fuel cap and asked me if I would drive far more than the half fuel tank left from the last renter. I said I was not sure if the half fuel tank was enough, and the staff offer me a change with free upgrade of a small SUV. Car renting experience is friendly and easy-going.
