DS Carriers Ltd Reviews

Cannot fault DS Carriers from start to finish the service was first class! Nothing was an issue for these guys, even provided an additional van to transport our shed at short notice. We moved at the start of the easing of the lockdown and the team were very professional in how they conducted themselves during these times, all masked up and gloves on. First time using a company to move house and would highly recommend DS Carriers to anyone looking for to move!

Fantastic service provided today by the whole team from DS carriers. Everything from start to finish went better than I ever could have hoped. Simple things like a text message to confirm they were on the way first thing was great to ease all stress on moving day. The three superstars who emptied my flat did an amazing job and nothing was too much trouble. Another team joined to help unload at the new house and with 7 sets of hands the truck was unloaded within an hour! This included some amazing work above and beyond what I could have expected - and all my new neighbours were thoroughly entertained watching my couch and bulky kitchen unit getting hoisted up onto my balcony due to a tight staircase. I’ll be recommending the team to everyone I know, they made a very stressful day pass without a problem. Thanks again!

The team from DS Carriers did an excellent job with our move. Nothing was too much for the guys and they worked extremely hard to make everything easy for us. They are a personable and pleasant bunch. We were so impressed that we will be contacting them again when we move from our temporary accommodation into our new house. We have no hesitation in recommending DS Carriers.

We used DS just as lockdown is beginning to ease and honestly, I could not have asked for a more professional service. The team turned up on time and got straight to work (wearing masks and social distancing as best they could). They worked incredibly hard, non-stop and took care of all my belongings, from wrapping, protecting and storing safely in van. At the other end, they took great care to wear foot coverings and placed all items exactly in the position I wanted things in each room. They were absolute stars and DS should be proud of the team they have working for them! I would have no hesitation in recommending this removal company, which was also very competitively priced.

I can’t recommend DS Carriers they done our house removal on 12th March they were great so careful with everything, nothing was a bother for them such a great team made our moving so much easier thanks so much guys 👌😄

I contacted DS carriers with a short lead in time. They responded and visited to survey the following day. On the day of removal the team were both friendly and efficient, nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend them all day long. Thanks for taking the stress out of moving house

DS Carriers are a fantastic firm who were friendly yet professional and took all of the stress out of our house move! We really appreciated how much care they took in moving our items, many of which were fragile - thanks to their wrapping some of these items and the attention they gave when transporting them there was not a single breakage! I can't recommend them highly enough!

DS Carriers provides an excellent moving service. All emails were answered really quickly and the move went really smoothly and the team were really helpful and friendly.

The team from DSCarriers were wonderful. So patient and helpful. Nothing was a bother to them. Very well mannered and very cheery in a very stressful situation. I would recommend the company to anyone I knew was moving house.

These guys were excellent during our move. Very careful and patient and nothing was an issue, we had some very challenging furniture to be moved and they moved them with ease.

Here's what I dreaded about moving house: the cost, breakages/losses, fitting everything into the van, and the logistics of moving out of two flats and into a new home in one day. DS took a lot of that stress away. From the start, their communication skills were very good: you can talk to them in advance and get quick, helpful responses to requests for advice or concerns. First thing in the morning, the teams were cheery, hardworking and did not give me a hard time about the quality of my packing (crisp boxes - good for crisps, not so great for the contents of your kitchen). Astonishing to see the guys pack away a two-bedroom flat in a few hours, and they got everything in, even the awkward stuff. We had a delay to entry while a solicitor enjoyed a leisurely lunch before authorising the release of the keys, but the teams took it in their stride, which took the pressure off a bit, especially since they don't charge for wait time. Then Sean got us back on track by bringing in crews from other jobs to come across and help unpack and place the contents of two vans in just two hours. DS were fantastically careful too - not one breakage, despite some challenging items. We got four quotes and DS were not the most expensive, nor the cheapest, and in the end it came down to the positive reviews. They are well-deserved; the crews are reassuringly professional, good-humoured and great value.

Great service from all at DS carriers for our move. The quote was both easy to understand with no added extras and competitive. They were very thorough in looking after our furniture.

D S Carriers who we used on 21/11/19 to move home were outstanding from start to finish. We had 2 pick up points - items from a 3rd floorflat and items from storage and both were moved effortlessly and efficiently. The guys worked solidly from the morning and had up all packed up, unpacked and furnishings/possessions placed wherever we wanted them by mid afternoon. We simply could not have done this move without them so thanks so much to the 3 guys we had.

This is the second time we have used DS Carriers and they have been excellent on both occasions. The team arrived very promptly and had the rooms emptied very quickly. We had not been able to completely dismantle the wardrobe but they did that for us in about 10 minutes. At our new address everything was taken up the four flights quickly and quietly and put into the correct rooms. Before we knew it we were in and the move was complete. I have always found the staff to be friendly, helpful and pleasant to deal with.

Nothing was too much trouble for Donald and his team had a total 'Can do' attitude. The care that was taken with our furniture and breakables was unbelievable. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone. Thanks boys for making a stressful day easier.

Sean from DS Carriers responded quickly to my initial enquiry and I had a clear understanding what the process would be on my moving day from the start which was very helpful. I found the price to be competitive and overall service provided was excellent. Here are the things I particularly liked: Even although my actual moving day changed 3 times, DS Carriers were patient and flexible. On the night before I moved I received a message from the team doing the removal to confirm arrangements for the next day. On the morning of the move I received a message confirming the removal team were on their way. The team were friendly, quick and efficient and took great care over our belongings On a day that has the potential to be stressful DS Carriers made it a bit easier. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend DS Carriers

I would highly recommend this company for a house move; they responded quickly to all communication, and did exactly what they said they would. Our first floor flat was cleared in one hour and everything arrived safely despite some parking difficulties. The workers were helpful and polite, were a great team, and worked very hard. Thank you!

First class service We had been let down a couple of firms and DS Carriers stepped in. We could not have been more impressed. I would strongly recommend this team for removal services and storage. Professional, friendly. Reliable I want to thank all of the team involved in collecting and delivering our good. From start to finish, the effort and endeavour was outstanding

Googled local removal companies and after reading reviews of DS Carriers Ltd gave then a call. Sean came down that morning to check what was involved in the move. He emailed me a quote later that day and we thought it very reasonable, so as he had a slot available the following week we went ahead and booked him. The guys arrived bang on time and set about loading our belongings. They took great care, wrapping sofas in plastic, and glass dining table in big blankets. As well as care of our belongings I felt they were mindful of the flooring and woodwork and there were no scratches or damages to these. We were quickly installed in our new home with furniture placed where we wanted it. The guys,(Danny and Donnie?) were polite and cheery and the day that we had been dreading went so smoothly thanks to them. Would definitely recommend this company to anyone moving house.

Sean stepped in a week and a half before our moving date. He was easy to correspond with and delivered packing materials the day after we booked him and paid our deposit. On the day, Donald and the team arrived promptly. They dealt with all the small hiccups (like getting parked) with a relaxed attitude. They were fast and efficient at loading items and took great care with our belongings. They were loaded up and away by 11.30am and gave us an extra bit of time to finish cleaning. We didn’t arrive with keys at the new place till 3.30pm and despite the tight time frame Donald generously took the time to dismantle a large sofa to move into another room, and then put it back together as good as new. As DS do deliveries for large furniture outlets they had all the equipment (and expertise) to hand to do this. I would highly recommend DS to handle your move. Friendly, relaxed, careful and efficient.
