The car sells woman was very great had me very confident in everything i wanted. They were very nice and gave me everything I wanted with my car search. It did not take long to finalize the car sell.

They are liars. And watch it when you trade or pay their car off because the lied and said it was a write off on my credit which was not true. In fact they sent me a check because the dealership paid over the small amount owed. Then I tried to get another car through them they treated like crap. Ended up getting a brand new car from World Car Nissan.
Hello, DriveTime is unfortunately a scam. During my second and last visit, the guy working with me couldn't get his lines right. After two (2) hours and forty-five (45) minutes, I was told they couldn't sell me a car because I did not have an Alabama ID. Which I found interesting because during my first visit in 2024 they sold a car to a family from Mississippi. Also DriveTime does not follow the FTC regulations. They do a bait and switch, told me online and over the phone Mt down payment would be $895 for the vehicle I chose but the day I came in the down payment was $4800. I know that in order for you to stay in business this long you "must be doing something right", we'll I disagree. The fact that I gave you all my personal and sensitive information has caused me a lot of stress. Sleepless nights, headaches and not being able to concentrate on simple tasks is occurring because I believed DriveTime when they told me they would put me in a car with peace of mind, only to be lied to.

I would never recommend this company to anyone. We didn’t even make it home with the car we bought. We were broke down in the side of the road. It has been a nightmare ever since. This car has been in the shop 4 or 5 times and still is not fixed. Take your money elsewhere!!

This is so hard for me because I had a great experience in the center. I was so excited about the purchase of my 2017 Ford Escape Titanium from this location. After purchasing it, within less than 6 months it had to have an engine replacement. Thank God, I purchased the Silver Rock Warranty, and the replacement was covered. Although, I could not understand how a vehicle that needed a new engine could be out for a consumer to purchase, but nonetheless I was still glad I was able to get the repairs. So, I’m thinking a brand new engine all should be well. Over the next few months I had to take my vehicle back to the shop for one issue after the next, related to engine issues. The repair facility was amazingly kind, thorough and professional. They told me that they specialize in engine replacements and have NEVER had this much trouble with a replacement. After going back to this location to see if I could get another vehicle for the same price or to see if they could help me, I was abruptly and curtly turned away while being told it’s past the five day return (which to me is unrealistic because most of the time issues do not show themselves within 5 days) BUT I respect the policy and the process. I was referred to the corporate office. I contacted them and I really wish I had of obtained the gentleman’s name. He was kind and placed me on hold a few times to see what he could do. He came back and said that all purchases were final and that I was outside of the return window. So I made it through November and December 2024 with no issues….fast forward to now the end of January and here I am back at the repair facility facing a 1,127.00 bill that Silver Rock has now denied the claim with no explanation as to why. Fuel has leaked into my evac cylinder AND even when I pay for these repairs another noise was heard in the engine and I will eventually have to have that checked and it may be covered. SO I still owe 21,109. on this vehicle and even if I try to get out from under it I will still be upside down in it or I can voluntarily give it to the finance company and have it on my credit for the next 7 years. The sad reality is that this lot sold me a LEMON. I understand other people may have had successes with Drivetime, but this was my first time experience with them and it has been a nightmare. I am just approaching the year mark of having this vehicle and I feel like I have had it for years. I don’t understand not having a policy in place for correcting an error you made, which is selling a defected vehicle. I’m not saying it was knowingly done but once you realize it was done, the company should have procedures in place to fix it. Buyer please be aware. You must choose wisely.

Horrible customer service.. I live in Columbus Ga. The first time I applied with Drivetime -I was approved online for the down payment and monthly payment but then it changed to a much higher amount once I got in the store. I didn’t purchase at that time in December 2024. I again applied at the end of January and I was given another approval and invited to the office with an appt to complete the sale. A few days later, I arrived to my appt slightly late and after checking in, I waited an hour. I was never acknowledged or greated by my salesperson Willie. I had to leave after waiting so long. I then rescheduled for the next appt. When I arrived at this appt l, I was checked in again and then the long wait started again, even though I arrived timely on this appt. After waiting for some time, I walked to the lot to look at cars.. Finally, I got to inquire about two cars with the salesperson Willie when I discovered the one I originally inquired about had a botched paint job. . I then completed some forms. It took another long wait to be able to finally test drive a vehicle. As mentioned, the original one was a repainted vehicle that had a bad paint job, so I wasn’t interested , the second vehicle that I tried smelled like smoke and I could not drive that one due to the smell, and finally inquired about a third vehicle. Finally after an hour and a half- I drove this car and it was a nice vehicle that I was very interested in. By this time, it was getting close to closing time.. I expressed my interest in the 2019 Ford fiesta. At approximately 10 minutes prior to closing the sales person Willie came back and told me that they would need a little longer to process my information and he asked me for some additional information to “verify me”. His question just prior to this was - would I be ready to make a decision today? And I replied yes. Two days later after giving them all my personal info I’ve never heard one thing back from this company. I have not heard from the salesperson or anyone else to follow up on my visit or purchase. I went online and got approved and now am making my purchase with Carvana within hours. Lesson, Do not waste your time with such an unprofessional company such as this one.
