    Poor & pointless communication

    I’m surprised how many good ratings are on here maybe I was unlucky. My claim was for personal injury following car crash at direction from Direct Line Insurance. Communication was terrible, monthly updates were not received or were the same cut and paste responses or questions requesting information previously provided. Telephone calls when received were pointless and usually followed same pattern as emails. Eventually I wrote to advise I would contact the ombudsman if progress was not made. Payout now received with no breakdown of costs, I wonder how much is charged for every pointless and uninformative email they generated? I would not recommend or use again.

    I am giving 5 stars to Isabel Brady…

    I am giving 5 stars to Isabel Brady only, not all DLG Legal because only this lady was professional with great attitude and she dealt with my case with full satisfaction and she was very helpful. If you ever have DLG as your insurer, ask for Isabel Brady to be your claim agent and you won't regret. I dealts with 4 different agents over my 2 claims and I had to changed all of them because they were useless and delays the claim and responded after weeks of waiting. Ignorants and useless. She was the only one that did everything as it should be and I can highly recommend her.

    DLG legal Services were assigned to me…

    DLG legal Services were assigned to me from my insurance company after a car accident I can honestly say this company has been outstanding. Especially. Dalize De Swardt who was in charge of my case she kept me updated monthly on what was going on and if I had any queries on need to know anything she replied to me straight away

    Not anywhere near good enough

    Not anywhere near good enough. I had this legal cover bundled with car insurance. Following a non fault accident, Churchill sold me on the benefits of using DLG legal services as they were part of the same group and it would make it easier and faster to make a claim. That may have been true but the utter lack of competence and churn of staff made the claim tedious and laborious. I would not use them again.

    Patience and guidance

    At first wasn't sure how things would be. As we went along, knowing it would take a long time to conclude, communication got better. More telephone contact in beginning would have helped me to understand things more. But as we neared the end very helpful to know what to do. Overall no problems. With claims patience is the word.

    Quality of Advise

    I found the advise given to me by my solicitor, Maryam Farhan Quddusi to be very helpful in informing me how to proceed with my case. She was honest, sympathetic and realistic in expectations in the outcomes. I felt she had my interests at the forefront of her advise and was able to help me make informed decisions.

    I found DLG Legal Services to very professional. Irfan was the solicitor that represented me, he very experienced, friendly and supportive. I was extremely pleased with the outcome of my case which was achieved only through the hard work and determination of my solicitor. I would definitely recommend their services.

    There when I needed legal help

    I broke my wrist in 2019 in a hospital.i was told this was a long process. I was kept informed via emails and phone calls. Sasha was my case handler. The case is now over and I am very pleased with the outcome. This was all at a time when Covid was around and we were all working from home,but I could still call the company anytime and if Sasha was not around there was always someone else to talk to.

    Responsive advisor

She keeps in regular contact with me during this very difficult time and always responds to my queries and emails promptly. She is sympathetic and works extremely hard to help me gain the best outcome. From the outset Elle explained how the process works and gave me detailed information regarding how important it was to document and keep records, to alleviate stress later.     My experience with DLG Legal Services

    My experience with DLG has been very good. It’s always a long protracted affair when dealing with legal matters as multiple agencies are often involved. However I was given a time scale for my case to be completed and it was completed well within that time scale. My case worker Melissa Saunders was efficient in dealing with all aspects of my case, and easily contacted via the on line service or by phone to answer any queries I had. If she was unavailable other staff members were available to help me. I personally cannot fault Melissa and her team, and thank them for the successful completion of what was a traumatic experience.

    Don’t use this company, I to was referred to use them by Churchill but they have provided bad legal advice and wish that I had never bothered with them. My experience of this company has been non existent and as the result of an accident 12 months ago received a final payment of £260 but if that’s not bad enough they refused to consider the financial losses at the 11th hour I had resulting from this of £234 for Reki/message/anxiety relief despite DLG accepting the receipts/speaking to the therapist so the case was worth £26 in the end… I asked what was the ratio between my settlement figure and the total legal/medical costs but no one would tell me…. It’s no wonder the insurance costs are going up because someone is paying for there fees…. Needs a complete overhaul….. Have tried to speak to someone from DLG but couldn’t find anyone that really cares which is a shame…
