Poor & pointless communication
I’m surprised how many good ratings are on here maybe I was unlucky. My claim was for personal injury following car crash at direction from Direct Line Insurance. Communication was terrible, monthly updates were not received or were the same cut and paste responses or questions requesting information previously provided. Telephone calls when received were pointless and usually followed same pattern as emails. Eventually I wrote to advise I would contact the ombudsman if progress was not made. Payout now received with no breakdown of costs, I wonder how much is charged for every pointless and uninformative email they generated? I would not recommend or use again.
