Kia Bolton absolute rubbish

Kia Bolton absolute rubbish. Went in in March 2024 to buy a car but the system was down so promised a call back, and 16 months later it still never happened so I bought it somewhere else, now trying to BUY a service plan and promised a call from the service team, 7 days later still no call. Speak to Kia customer service and they send you to the dealer who never call back. If this is the service they offer when I am trying to buy something imagine how bad it would be if I had an issue. I have had 4 Kia's now and this will be my last one

DM Kieth Kia Leeds. Absolute pleasure from ordering to picking up my new car. Tony was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and explained fully how the Motability Scheme works and how it would help me to purchase my new car. He was instrumental in me choosing this route , as it had always worried me in the past. Tony kept me informed regularly regarding when the car would arrive and when the adaptation work would be carried out. The whole experience has been stress free and very straightforward . I love the new Kia Sportage and would highly recommend the Leeds Kia dealership to anyone who wants an excellent buying experience.

I would have given them a 5 star review except for the fact that one person at the desk let them down . I had a front camera replaced and when the work was don , the bumper was not put on straight . Had words with a certain individual that worked on the desk . After trying to sort out the mess , I finally had a call from the service manager Bobbie ! He sorted it out with flying colours,excellent service ,polite to the point and extremely professional. Hopefully the of his staff will take note of how it should be done . Well done Bobbie. And thank you !

Don't bother

Today Monday 7th I walked into kia bristol to look at the price of a brand new picanto .I wandered around the showroom giving the salesmen plenty of time to acknowledge me AND NOTHING. I WONT BE BUYING A NEW CAR AT THIS DEALER.( shocking service) GO ELSEWHERE.

Not 5 Star Service

ATT: KIA UK - Customer Services I hope you don't mind but I wanted to reach out to you and explain my frustrations with the service levels and support I have received ever since I fist bought a brand new KIA in 2020, not all of which have been with your dealership, but all are KIA dealers. I also apologies in advance for the length of this post, but as you will see if you can read it all, a lot has happened and not much of it is good from a customer service point of view. I purchase my New KIA EV Soul EV in Dec 2020 from a dealership on the South Coast, as they offered the best price, but when I collected the car and this was my first ever EV, it was not explained how to charge the car, what plug I should use, who I should use for charging until I could get a home charger or anything about the controls/settings except a 5 minute explanation about the basic controls. As such I was using the wrong charging plug for the next 2 weeks when charging at public charges and it was taking twice as long to charge even thou I was using a 50K charger!!! (I only found out when another EV user pointed this out to me) My next issue was when I had a flat battery after 3 months use and the car would not start, I called out the RAC who charged the battery so I could start but said I should gte this checked by a main dealer, so I took it straight away to a local main dealer (not Brayleys) and asked if they could look at it and they said if I had bought the car from them they would have looked at it straight away but as I had not they would only book it in for a future date!!!! I left and will NEVER go back to them or purchase a car from them EVER! I then after 6 months had an issue were the car seemed to only charge to around 220 miles and not the quoted 280 miles, I took it to Brayles Harppenden and explained this to the Service Dep and the main service engineer told me he could not explain why this was happening as due to COVID they had not had enough training on EV cars??? How can you sell cars that the service dep don't know how they work??? Then around Aug last year I was invited to a launch event for the KIA EV6, at a different local dealer again, I asked them at the event to come back to me with an offer to purchase the EV6 (without even having a test drive) and they never came back to me??? So when I could finally have a test drive in an EV6 I contacted Brayleys Harppenden and arranged one in Jan 22, when I arrived I was told there was a problem with contacting the insurance company Brayleys use so could a staff member come with me, I said no as I wanted no extra pressure while doing a test drive on a very technical car and then I was told OK you can go on your own??? But with 15 minutes of the test drive done and I was on the way back another sales lady called me on my mobile to ask how long I would be, bear in mind I'm test driving a very technical car and have not set up the hands free, how did she expect me to legally answer the phone while driving??? As it happened I have an Apple watch and answered the phone using this hands free and explained I was on the way back. On my return I found out another test drive had been doubled booked and the Manager had agreed to the Sales Lady calling me while I was in the middle of a test drive, I was very angry and explained this to the Manager on my return and he did not care......................... Despite the above I was so impressed with the EV6 I agreed to a cash purchase of an EV6 GTS in the next 24hrs and was told it would be available in Aug 22 (7 months), hopefully sooner. I then get an email in April 22 to say there is no record of me sending a completed/signed purchase contract??? I then send an email back showing I had in Jan 22 when I agreed the purchase and I was told it had now been found and was received in Jan 22................. This then leads to the email below that sets out to explain how there is now a delay to my new car to Jan 23, maybe longer, so 12 months+ after I agreed to the purchase and the links that are supposed to explain this have quotes from lots of car makers, but none from KIA??? And comes also after I have just been told my signed contract has been found??? I should also point out that I expressed my up-set with this to Brayleys Harppenden and they did agree to give me a set of Mats and a Boot Liner FOC due to the delay, but I would prefer the car as we had planned a trip to France in Sep to enjoy it! The last thing to mention is that in Dec 21 I was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer and this was a main factor in me agreeing to purchase the EV6 in Jan 22 to enjoy it while I can, so any delay to it arriving may mean that I will have little time to enjoy it. Sorry again for the length of the email and I have even left some things out, but any help that could be given to getting my car as soon as possible will be greatly appreciated. Hi l have kia car which it has problems…

Hi l have kia car which it has problems make noise from the steering wheel and the engine making noise also from the back of the car wen driving on bumps and sometime on straight road makes noise we have taken the car to kia garage bradford 4 times first time they said before booking in we are just going to check so me and my husband went on the friday 17 th june to drop of l am a working mother and my husband working to we have not got spare time to keep on going so they booked us in for a test drive with the tecnical person so we all three went on a road drive the person heared the noise from the streeing wheel and the engine and from the back to so we went back they said we can only book it in for diagnose so they gave appointment for 21st july so l have to wait then still they not fix problem they just going to do a health check then keep my car for the whole day we have asked for a curtesy car couse me and my hubby work so with out car we cant go work so after then then they are going to order the parts and then may be fix ot or tell is to bring back the 5th time again this problem has been going on for a few month but they will not fix the problem l am sick of going back and forward just book car in and fix the problem once and for all so lets see how long it will take them to fix the problem the techniation has heared everyting the staff are not to friendly they dont expain proberly they said wen u bring on 27th july for test drive then we will book in to fix problem now she said we will do health check then order parts then book in car for health check then book in again to see if we can fix problem is this a joke u need to book 5 times to fix problem

I would not trust Kia car neither…

I would not trust Kia car neither should you because they just send me a letter month ago saying I have some kind of wrong Hecu ‘s electrical circuit board that they put in my 2014 shortage car. And it also states that because of that wrong part my car can catch on fire 🔥. They said it’s safe to drive my car in highway until I start smelling some kind of weird fire smell but they won’t write that on paper because they don’t want to responsibly for your or your loved ones life. I don’t know about anyone else but I don’t feel comfortable for my dad to drive this car in highway knowing that it might get caught in fire so I asked them if they provided some kind of car just till the right parts for my dads car comes in and they said they can’t do that. And after while they hung the phone up”. It doesn’t say any where in letter that if your vehicle were to caught on fire they will take the responsibility for it. Be safe people stay away from Kia cars

Unacceptable support when something goes wrong

We have a 71 plate Kia eNiro which we loved until today when it would not start. A very helpful RAC mechanic came and found an error with the Charging Control Unit which needs going back to a dealership to fix. Unfortunately my nearest dealer (Slough) said they could not book it in as were full and the next nearest (High Wycombe) can not book in until 12th July. This is a new car in warranty and is unacceptable.

Wonderful cars catastrophically bad after service

Sale team are fab and can't be faulted as are the cars. But to all those who've raved about how wonderful kia is just wait until something goes wrong. You let us know then how wonderful you think kia are!

Happy with our new kia

We have just collected our new kia xceed .I must say what a beautiful car this is.i would also like to say what a excellent dealership we dealt with (westdrive motors) They where all very friendly. But most of all the biggest thank you to Stuart mobb .this guy went out if his way to nake sure we where happy ,if I could give 20/10 to Stuart I would .s a big thank you Stuart from us both .and would I recommend this company 100% yes

WILL NOT BUY A KIA AGAIN

I love my Kia Venga but I personally think the so called Kia 7 year Warranty is untrue, IT IS FALSE SELLING. ALL CAR MANUFACTURERS PROVIDE 3 YEAR WARRANTIES THAT COVER EVERYTHING. "KIA PROVIDE 7 YEARS, BUT AFTER 3 YEARS, HARDLY ANYTHING IS COVERED" I have been driving nearly 34 years and have owned various cars over the years. My Kia Venga rear windscreen washer is not worker and the front washers, only 1 sprays out. TO FIND OUT WHY THE WASHERS ARE NOT WORKING KIA ADVISED ME TO TAKE THE VEHICLE TO KIA DEALER, BUT I HAVE TO PAY TO INVESTIGATE FAULT. KIA MUST USE CHEAP COMPONENTS I WILL NEVER BUY KIA AGAIN. THEIR 7 YEAR WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER THIS ISSUE, SO WHY MAKE OUT THEY PROVIDE A 7 YEAR WARRANTY VERY DISAPPOINTING

Bought a 2018 plate kia stinger June…

Bought a 2018 plate kia stinger June 2021 with 18k on the clock. Car has had all services done by kia since new and now sitting with 21k on the clock. Today my engine began to smoke quickly stopped and opened my bonnet and inside my engine was actually melting. Car is undrivable now but obviously I have 7 year warranty shame the garages are that overbooked with Kias they can't get ours in till the end of April. In the meantime no courtesy car my partner has no means of transport to work and I also have a sick child who attends a hospital 30 miles away. Explain that to kia but nothing they can do. If you are buying a kia DONT because even when you have no means of transport they still don't want to help. Customer service terrible
