Kia Bolton absolute rubbish

Kia Bolton absolute rubbish. Went in in March 2024 to buy a car but the system was down so promised a call back, and 16 months later it still never happened so I bought it somewhere else, now trying to BUY a service plan and promised a call from the service team, 7 days later still no call. Speak to Kia customer service and they send you to the dealer who never call back. If this is the service they offer when I am trying to buy something imagine how bad it would be if I had an issue. I have had 4 Kia's now and this will be my last one

DM Kieth Kia Leeds.

DM Kieth Kia Leeds. Absolute pleasure from ordering to picking up my new car. Tony was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and explained fully how the Motability Scheme works and how it would help me to purchase my new car. He was instrumental in me choosing this route , as it had always worried me in the past. Tony kept me informed regularly regarding when the car would arrive and when the adaptation work would be carried out. The whole experience has been stress free and very straightforward . I love the new Kia Sportage and would highly recommend the Leeds Kia dealership to anyone who wants an excellent buying experience.

I would have given them a 5 star review…

I would have given them a 5 star review except for the fact that one person at the desk let them down . I had a front camera replaced and when the work was don , the bumper was not put on straight . Had words with a certain individual that worked on the desk . After trying to sort out the mess , I finally had a call from the service manager Bobbie ! He sorted it out with flying colours, excellent service ,polite to the point and extremely professional. Hopefully the of his staff will take note of how it should be done . Well done Bobbie. And thank you !

Don't bother

Today Monday 7th I walked into kia bristol to look at the price of a brand new picanto .I wandered around the showroom giving the salesmen plenty of time to acknowledge me AND NOTHING. I WONT BE BUYING A NEW CAR AT THIS DEALER.( shocking service) GO ELSEWHERE.

I went and sat down with an assistant…

I went and sat down with an assistant in the Haslemere branch. I explained I was very interested in buying a Kia & that my budget was £24,000 or £350 a month. The assistant took down loads of my details and was going to send me quotes. That was 2 weeks ago. I didn’t hear anything back from him, no SMS, no phone call & no email. I’m so shocked because it could not have been easier for him to have signed me up for a purchase. I have just bought a £25000 Skoda Kamiq??? I’m left confused??? Sean in Haslemere?

Avoid!

Avoid!! Avoid! Avoid the brand. I write this review so no other Family or person experiences the same issue we are going through with a very heavy heart and I wish my family and I were not in this awful situation. Following purchasing our Kia Sportage AWD AT GT line 2018 with 33 000 Miles 6 months ago, we have now found ourselves car less after just 7000 miles. The car was originally bought by the first owner from Brayley Kia Oxford dealer and all 3 previous services done by this dealer and now sits in their work shop for more than 3 weeks with no diagnostics being conducted and clearly no indication of when they will be able to diagnose the vehicle. The diagnostics done by our privately contracted road side assistance (Kia Road side not available when called) stated the gear box has failed and cannot engage gears (Note this is an Auto). The car smells of burnt Clutch which we were advised by the road side assistance that this issue seems to be an internal gear box issue from his professional opinion. The car is way under the 100000miles/7year warranty. The dealer have confirmed over 16 breakdowns and also have cars there for repairs over two months and understandably work on a first come first serve basics. We have laid complaints with Kia UK and get no assistance what so ever and all we get told is the dealers are independent. Kia as a group and as a dealer do not stand by what they advertise especially the Kia Family like care part. We understand things break but breaking and not having an indication of when this can be repaired nor assist with providing a loan car wile they resolve the break down is definitely not family like care. This is a very cut down edit of our experience with KIA as a whole. Extremely frustrating and utterly unacceptable!!!

This is how a car should be sold

We have purchased a Kia Niro4 EV from Viking Kia at West End, Southampton. Max, our salesperson, has provided excellent customer service from the outset. We had many questions and he went out of his way to answer them either immediately or later by phone or email. If he said he would phone, he did. I changed the time of today's meeting when I picked up the vehicle at the last minute and he didn't bat an eyelid. If we didn't want to purchase a particular service, he accepted our response without trying to apply pressure. We were permitted several test drives to check up on different aspects of the vehicle. I am very happy with the vehicle so far, but this is only our first day! Thank you, Max; we appreciate all the trouble you put yourself to in order to show us we were making the right choice.

Do not buy a Kia Ceed

Do not buy a Kia Ceed! After purchasing mine I’ve had an ongoing issue with the MHSG belt and tensioner, which is the same as the known issue with the sportage. Yet despite it being a recognised issue, Kia and the Taxi Centre, where I purchased the car, have refused to take any responsibility for me being sold a car that is not fit for purpose. Because it is a common issue, they couldn’t get the part to fix it and couldn’t even give me an estimated date. I haven’t even had the car a year and 2 months of that time it was in the garage waiting to be fixed. I have lost all faith and trust in Kia to provide adequate customer service.

Kia warranty

Since buying my kia car from new I have had two issues with kia warranty, one was a cable that needed adjusting when the car was eighteen months old, my dealer carried out the work, I thought it was covered under warranty, but was informed that it wasnt because a part had not failed, however they kindly did the job with no charge. In august this year I complained that the alloy wheels on my car were suffering from corrosion, photos were taken and submitted to kia, they kicked it out. I am now in discussion with the dealer as to how this can be resolved, the car has only done 27500 miles in four years. My point is, how much is the seven year warranty really worth if kia reject issues such as mine, this experience will definately put me off buying another kia car, but more importantly, this can only give the brand a bad name, along with the dealers who seem to have very little influence in these matters .

Ken Brown Motors Stevenage…

We have just bought a new Kia exceed 3 from Ken Brown Motors Stevenage and would just like to say the customer service we received from Nathan was excellent from purchasing the car to handing the car over without being a pushy salesman, also like to add that Gem and the rest of the team where all top notch would definitely recommend them.
