First (insulation) phase completed today by Consumer Energy Solutions to insulate our home, install a air source heat pump and fit solar panels. The insulation stage work was done by Keiran and Ashley. Superb workmanship; they were fast, efficient, very polite and went above and beyond to get all the work done. A 5 star service from two skilled and hardworking young men. Thanks guys you were great👍👍
We had Nathan & Keelan as the insulation installation team. They were punctual, professional and kept work areas tidy and safe. They accommodated slight adjustments, and also made sure all work complied with current Building Regulations, even conducting remedial work on the existing building structure to ensure compliance. They kept us informed at all stages of work to ensure minimal disruption to household activities, and pet movements, going above and beyond expectations. A thoroughly professional and friendly team, who we had for two weeks working in the property and installed very high quality work.
From the first survey in Februay to completion of work in July the company have communicated promptly and efficiently and have supplied tradespeople of the highest calibre. Nothing has been too much trouble for them and every last scrap of rubbish was cleared. They have been a pleasure to do business with.

We echo many of the one star comments, and almost had to take a complaint to the ombudsman for problems with the solution fitted on the heating side. Just after the final complaint letter arrived we received a call from Logan who investigated the issues properly and had a team out in a matter of weeks to remediate the issues. Before this point we were adamant not to purchase batteries from CES however due to the excellent service from Logan in the solar shop we have since purchased and have had fitted the batteries from CES. Sorry Logan cant give this review 5 stars due to the issues in general, but your service was definitely 5 star and thank you for helping us fix the issues.
CREDIT WHERE IT'S DUE. Would like to give special recognition to the scaffolders from CES who came to our property today. Having had a bad experience a few months ago with a different company, sending a bunch of foul mouthed cowboys, who put up a very tatty, unsafe set up, scuffing our newly coated external walls and then left it for over two months before collecting it. Lee (I think that's what his name was) and his mates were polite, friendly and very accommodating, having to work around many obstacles in our garden. They have constructed a very neat, stable and sturdy, safe set up. They were also particularly conscious of preventing any damage to our newly coated external walls,using caps and positioning poles a safe distance from wall. Also using large solid planks to stand the down poles on, preventing any damage to our (recently done) resin paths. True professionals in their trade and a pleasure to have on our property. Thank you for their professional and considerate attention to detail. From a very happy customer.
We have just had our ECO 4 system installed including an air source heat pump and solar panels. From start to finish the whole experience has been very positive. The workmen were very polite, professional and tidied up after themselves with no damage at all to our property. Special thanks to Osian Hughes for making it all run so smoothly and keeping us up-to-date with every step of the process.
The insulation team have just finished, a lovely, cheerful, polite, respectful bunch of guys, Jayson, Aaron and Jaydon. A very professional job with minimal disruption with great communication. Both Conor the electrician and Liam on the solar are doing a great job, both again polite and good communication and will be back soon to finish off. Thank you also to the office staff who have been really helpful.

Really good experience with this company from beginning all the way to the solar panels installation. Everything went smooth thanks to Josh R. who kept me up to date with everything. I’m really happy with the system.
As stated by others, the solar panel installers were very good and professional. As for the insulation team they were pathetic and it took several weeks and phone-calls to get the work re done in three stages. The plumbers were total cowboys and did know the legal requirements on safety. They installed the unvented cylinder in front of the solar inverter making it impossible to access for settings etc. They connected an existing copper back boiler to the unvented cylinder which is lethal and could cause an explosion, they did not reinstate a cold water supply to the shower mixer valve and then connected it to the mains supply and not the balanced hot & cold supply. The heat pump was leaning over on uneven ground in front of the lounge window. Seriously untidy pipework. There were 12 leaks which made a mess. Carpet raised and re fitted on top of bits of rubble which had to be raised again to sort out. Old oil boiler flue pipe removed and hole not patched up in wall and boiler left in situ and said they were not responsible for it’s removal. Extractor fans installed in most rooms with no isolating switches. One bedroom radiator fitted which was badly damaged. We sent Consumer Energy Solutions pictures and written evidence of the mess, we also contacted the MCS group several times with no results. We eventually gave up hope and had to pay over £600 for all the remedial work to be completed. We had to threaten court action more than once to recover the money. They should be struck off immediately especially as there was a tv program specifically about their poor workmanship and the fact they had made £34 million profit in this short period. Does “Trustpilot”not look in to these companies record before recommending them ? Stay clear !
Huge amount of work done in a short time with relatively minimal stress. Insulation, heating and solar panel installation teams all worked efficiently and cleared up any mess. It’s been ten months now, and I’m seeing the difference in my heating bills. The heating was originally run by LPG and although initially through the winter, electricity bill was higher, I am now seeing the benefit of not having to order two tanks of gas, and having credits added to my electricity account courtesy of the solar panels in the spring. My annual energy spending is already significantly lower. The air source heating was a little complicated but help has been only a phone call away, and I’m perfectly happy with it, Thanks to storm Darrah the solar panel system threw a little wobbly, but I was sent a short video and got it up and running again on my own.
