First (insulation) phase completed today by Consumer Energy Solutions to insulate our home, install a air source heat pump and fit solar panels. The insulation stage work was done by Keiran and Ashley. Superb workmanship; they were fast, efficient, very polite and went above and beyond to get all the work done. A 5 star service from two skilled and hardworking young men. Thanks guys you were great👍👍

We had Nathan & Keelan as the insulation installation team. They were punctual, professional and kept work areas tidy and safe. They accommodated slight adjustments, and also made sure all work complied with current Building Regulations, even conducting remedial work on the existing building structure to ensure compliance. They kept us informed at all stages of work to ensure minimal disruption to household activities, and pet movements, going above and beyond expectations. A thoroughly professional and friendly team, who we had for two weeks working in the property and installed very high quality work.

ECO4 grant installations

From the first survey in Februay to completion of work in July the company have communicated promptly and efficiently and have supplied tradespeople of the highest calibre. Nothing has been too much trouble for them and every last scrap of rubbish was cleared. They have been a pleasure to do business with.

Good experience from start to finish.

We have had air source heat pump and solar panels installed by C E S. From the surveyor’s visit to completion, the job was finished in under two weeks. Huw and Rob who installed the heat pump, radiators etc were friendly, efficient, and did an excellent job. They tidied up every night and left no debris when they had finished. The solar panels were fitted on our land as the roof wasn’t in too good a condition. That was no problem to them. The company have kept us informed at all stages. Hope we can soon get credits from energy supplier, as looking at our smart meter the solar panels are producing much more than we are currently using. Having previously been on solid fuel heating, we are looking forward to a winter without all the work and mess.

Karl and Matthew have done the thermal boarding in our home to give us help with the insulating our home and start saving money. Great work guys. They both were very informative of what was happening and what was going to be done, friendly, caring leaving everything tidy and clean after finished Great ambassadors for the company.

Absolutely awful service from CES / Consumer Energy Solutions

Absolutely awful service from the start. Install took over 7 weeks. They tell you that people don't have to move out but then trash every room with workers in and out for up to 12 hours a day. The dust was unbelievable and the workers don't bring anything to clean as they go during the wall insulation process. We had no hot water, limited electricity sockets and nowhere to eat or sleep for over 4 weeks. Quite the worst experience we have ever had with any company. Their 'customer after care' department doesn't care at all. They aren't the ones giving out the free systems - they are a private company being paid by the govt, not a charity. It's all about profit. They use hundreds of sub contractors and take little responsibility for how they treat your home or the quality of the work - contrary to what it says in the brochure. We were £1,200 out of pocket in unforeen costs, including accommodation charges and missing and damaged property after they finally left. Ours is a tiny cottage and promises made were repeatedly broken with little consideration for the impact this would have on us. I had to take additional annual leave from work to try and oversee the fiasco. Several radiators of the wrong size were sent, wrong skirting boards, contractors given inadequate details of the job and in some instances without basic essentials such as pieces of plasterboard or mains cable. CES never seemed to have any grip on the project and only offered to help clean up the mess when I and my son had been forced to book a room at a hostel as all the house was filthy and upside down. A far cry from the 'oh no, you won't have to move out', and 'we employ all the people we send to your property ourselves. That's how we can guarantee a high standard of work and that everyone will leave your home as they found it'!!

Do not go near this company.

Do not go near this company. They didn't give us all the information up front about losing use of our attic space through all the pipework needed to go up inside it. Nor the lose of airing cupboard space due to the enormous size of the water tank plus the other header tanks required. They then take no notice of any times you agree with them for them to turn up. Then when you need to buy additional storage units to replace the loss of storage they have caused you, there is no recompence. And please do not get hurt on anything they put in or outside your house, as they really do not care at all. They had scaffolding outside for a few weeks to do the solar panels. The poles were in no way guarded or lit, so in the dark were not visible at all. Most of the time we only went past them to the cars and back in daylight. But on one occasion, we came home very late, and on my journey from the car to the front door I walked into one of the poles. I have been in constant pain since and have now got to go under the knife to repair torn tendons and the rotator cuff. The way the scaffolding was erected meant that the PIR for the outside light was blocked form working so unable to activate the light when needed. So they not only made a security light inoperative, but didn't supplement the poles with any form of visibility aids including amber warning lights. They asked me to send them all the letters I have with regards to my shoulder, but the moment I sent them they basically told me to go elsewhere. They have no care or concern for any pain, suffering, inconvenience or additional costs incurred by their 'customers'. If I could give a zero or negative star, I would.
