Jo Goddard is fantastic! The process of buying a property is stereotypically stressful. But, clearly this wasn't Jo's first rodeo. She was communicative, proactive, and friendly, making the stages both smooth, and efficient. Her professionalism and support made a massive impact on the overall journey. For ten years Charters have managed our property, sorting any maintenance work & quotes for jobs that that needed to be done. Plus collecting rent from tenants and dealing with any complaints. We live over 150 miles away from our property but they made it easy to vet any new tenants. Stephen Henry employed by charters has been our main correspondence over 7 years among a few others who were also great. Stuart and I have never met him just emails and telephone calls but such a friendly professional ear. We would like to thank the company for ten years of wonderful service to our selves & property. Arranged viewings at times requested. Very responsive to calls and queries. Toby was friendly and prompt with replies. Lisa from the progression team kept in regular contact, provided updates and chased the other parties solicitors and estate agents for us.

I cannot recommend Charters highly enough. Alice Mackonochie understood our needs and proactively assisted us with our search for a property and found us the perfect home. Jo Goddard seamlessly managed the purchase process with honesty, efficiency and humour. (Despite us not being the actual client.) A big thank you to Peter Nobbs, of Charters. We had great tenants that unfortunately moved out leaving the flat in a less than ideal conditions, and us with a very large bill. The move in and move out reports by Charters were solid, and well evidenced with photos and descriptions and with Peter steering the ship we were able to recoup a good portion (>70%) of the costs entailed, from TDS - it's really heartening to deal with an agency that know where and how to find balance and can deal with regulatory bodies to make sure a fair outcome for all. From start to finish, Charters made the process of selling our home an easy process. Storme from the Park Gate office gave us a warm feeling that we were with the right agency, providing strong supporting evidence to back up the valuation. We were a little concerned at the lack of viewings, but this was because prospective viewings were thoroughly vetted before a viewing was proposed. Just 4 viewings yielded 2 offers the first fell through, and the second resulted in the ultimate sale. Kerry and Sarah from the sales team were very supportive of our search and quickly grasped what were our go no-go items, ensuring we only looked at viable properties. And Jo maintained a good follow up as our sale progressed, ensuring that we were kept informed of what was happening in the chain below.

We have just completed on our house sale & purchase. We selected Charters Estate Agents in Southampton for their local reputation and professional approach. There was a whole team of their people involved at various stages in the process but throughout it all Oliver Collins, valuations manager, was our main and consistent contact. He was knowledgeable, professional, easy to contact and personable. Oliver reassuringly kept in close contact from our initial enquiry to the successful conclusion of sale and onward purchase.

My appointment with Amelia Haines was timely, I didn’t have to wait for Amelia. She was right on time, kindly and straight to the point. All questions asked were answered to the best of her knowledge.

I am buying through Charters in Bishops Waltham. Firstly their staff in the Bishops Waltham office have been brilliant throughout, very professional and always friendly. We had a disaster last year when our buyer pulled out at the last moment but they stuck with us and helped us to get the house we were after. Having had an offer accepted their sales progression team were brilliant. Taking the lead and pushing through the sale. It's probably wrong to do this but I will name check the two people who have been absolutely great, Lewis Pearce at Bishops Waltham and Stephen Henry in the sales progression team. Thank you both.
