Chants Estate Agents Reviews

Six Months of Rodent Infestation – No Real Resolution We’ve endured six months of rodent infestation in a property managed by The Chant Group, and the experience has been appalling. Despite countless emails, pest control reports, and even rodents getting into our bedroom and personal belongings, the issue was never taken seriously. Instead of acting on clear professional advice for structural proofing, we were sent a handyman who carried out poor patch-up work — which pest control later confirmed was inadequate. The problem has repeatedly been downplayed, communication has been inconsistent, and there's been no meaningful accountability or urgency. We’ve had to throw away contaminated items, constantly disinfect our home, and live with stress and disruption for half a year. For a premium rent, this level of mismanagement is unacceptable. I would strongly advise others to think twice before renting a property managed by The Chant Group.

Have been looking for a flat all month and the Chant Group were my saviour!! Omar was absolutely fantastic, so professional while also very warm and informative as to every flat I viewed with him. Can’t recommend them enough!

My experience with Jack and the whole Chant group was very positive all around. We did have some hiccups on our side of the process but at the end we managed to get through it all and moved on to the apartment in a very short period of time. Jack was very helpful and provided assistance whenever we needed. He always picked up our calls and replied to our messages even if it was a Sunday evening just to give an example. When I came to the offices of Chant, everyone was very polite and helpful which made the overall experience so much more pleasant. Overall, I can highly recommend Jack and the whole of Chant group to my friends and family as they made my life so much more easier with finding and getting an apartment. Hoping to get in contact again soon!

They are not paying the deposit back and they are scammers. It is illegal what they do. Dont trust them.

rude , untrustworthy and incompetent

Leah was truly exceptional in helping me to prepare & organise my property for rental. She was always on time for our appointments and I found her advice to be invaluable. I was also very impressed with her level of knowledge about the rental market. All in all, it was a pleasurable experience working with Leah. I would have no hesitation in recommending her to ‘get the job done’ for you.

I have been dealing with chant for two years now. During that time I have found this company to work to the highest professional standards. Over the past twenty years I have dealt with several different estate agents in London and I can honestly say the Chant group have come out on top. It is refreshing to work with a company that respond quickly by email and phone to any queries I have had. The advice around my rental and sale options has been clear and concise without exaggeration or inflated return forecasts. Based on my experience with Chant, I can highly recommend their services to any prospective buyer or renter.

Thank you for help my family to rent a flat. Big thanks to Charles who have amazing contact with us and always try to help with process of letting property. Thank you once again. Definitely recommend the chant group.

Excellent all round service from Mark and the team from start to finish. Chants worked very hard to complete the sale and their communication with me was excellent throughout. Very pleased with the outcome and would highly recommend.

Oliver Wilson is amazing, he helped us find a perfect flat. No problems with anything, if you want a good realtor, he is your guy!

The agent called Oliver Jackson has been guiding me very and also made my experience with Chant group a very nice experience.

Chants have been brilliant right from the start. From day one with their valuation, through to constant viewing’s despite a decline in the property market, they shone through keeping us in the loop always. Very friendly and always available. Many thanks and well done to all at Chants Estate Agents.

Very helpful & supported us with purchasing our property.

The team at Chants went above and beyond to make out sale as smooth as possible and were exceptionally helpful with our purchase, although it was with another estate agent. We would no hesitate to recommend Mark to anyone thinking of moving in the future and we would most definitely use them again.

Professional, friendly and informative from start to finish. Kept in touch with me at every step of the process. The marketing was great and made for a quick and smooth sale.

didnt check basic identification when trying to sell the house cost us and seller lots of time and money - in response to below there was not a power of attorney in place and you did not do the relevant checks of the two people who owned the property - when we bought it we knew it was both and you did not do these checks - so please do not insult everyone's intelligence who would read this and pretend you did your job - you would be better to admit your failings and put something in place to ensure it doesnt happen again - There was no LPA we had to get this arranged- you never checked who owned the property , and you mever realsied anything , I told you because i knew straight away more than the estate agent , and neither did the solicitor - my facts are facts not opinions , my opinion is how rude your director is and how he tried to bully people,- it is worse you are not able to admit your mistakes and learn from them , I just pray the company does not stay in business for much longer and save stress for many other people and mark Chant himself never works in a customer facing environment

Mark and his team have been brilliant they give weekly updates and are always there for any questions that we may have. I would highly recommend them first class estate agents with the personal touch and would definitely use them again.

The team at Chants have been completely professional throughout the sale of my house. Their friendly and courteous approach helped them proactively negotiate an excellent price and navigate all the hurdles through to completion. Thank you, I will certainly use you again. All the very best wishes, Rob.

Very Professional from day one ,kept us well informed throughout the entire process,Highly recommend! and a great team to do business with

We felt comfortable with Mark as soon as we met him to sell my partners property. This carried on throughout the whole process of our working relationship with him. He was also extremely helpful in the sale of my property through chasing up people and prompting other estate agents to chase the others in the chain. His persistence and assertiveness when needed certainly paid off. We could not have achieved our happy outcome without Mark; we unreservedly recommend him - thank you!!!
