Got a fantastic price for a large SUV in the USA. In Vegas my wife was included as an extra driver and I had no hard selling from Alamo. Will use them again
Collection was efficient and the staff were friendly but the inside and outside of the car could have been cleaner.
Having booked online my expectation was to arrive at paphos, walk to rental desk and collect a key, to walk to a vehicle and go. Travelling with three young children I was disappointed to have significant delays to my journey at the rental desk. There was a delay as a ‘security deposit needed to be taken from my account’ I do not have a credit card so we had to move to the debit card option. There were also ‘choices’ to be made about cover etc. Having booked online why couldn’t this be done when booking when I have all the time in the world to sort it out. Doing it after a long flight and feeling exhausted and try to acclimatise one felt like I was being manipulated and fleeced. In short I just want a key and to go! In this day and he this should surely be possible!?
We booked a car for 6 days. Due to a change of plans we had to delay the pick up time, from 10 am to 2pm. Although we tried, we could not get in contact with anyone to inform about this delay. But since the booking was already paid, we assumed it would be no problem. Terms and Conditions state that "Auto Europe does not refund any unused days if the customer does not show up, shows up late or returns the vehicle early." We understand from this that we would not have a refund for the unused time, not that we cannot have the car for any day if we show up late. Later on the phone, they told us that they only keep the reservation for 30 minutes (!) after the pick up time, and it is cancelled without refund after that. This is not said anywhere in the "Terms and Conditions". Costumer service on the phone were very impolite, blaming us for arriving late and saying that it was obvious they could not keep the reservation if we did not show up on time. As we needed a car, we booked another one, with the same company. This time we did not get the car either, because we presented a valid credit card, as required, but it was a Spanish Visa card. We are Spanish, and we have passport and ID with this address. But we have just moved to UK, so we gave the UK address for the reservation, understanding it would be more convenient for the company, as the rental was in UK. It turns out that they the car rental company (Keddy) would not accept a Spanish credit car because we had an UK address. We had a UK debit car, and were willing to pay any additional fee to cover the excess directly with Keddy. But they would not accept these solutions either. They just did not want to give us the twice paid car. In conclusion: we paid two reservations for six days and we did not get any car. The car in both cases was denied for reasons not stated in the "Terms and Conditions".
The most dodgy car rental group you will come across Avoid at all costs there is no phone contact OR email address that one can voice their complaints to WILL NEVER USE AGAIN & WILL LET MY FRIENDS KNOW

I very disappointed as I have not had any response from an email I sent regarding how my father was treated. Very bad experience with this company. Hi, I would be very grateful if someone could contact me. I am contacting you on behalf of my 75 year old father who I feel has been treated unfairly. He booked a car with you for his holiday and when he arrived at the airport in Naples Italy he could not find Keddy... As this is part of Eurocar he asked them and was told they had never heard of it, being in a foreign country is difficult with the language as it is and was told to get one from them and contact you by phone. He informed you the next day as it was late by the time he drove to the hotel and now is being told he can not have a refund. Which was meant to be a nice holiday had now made him short of £300. I would be very grateful if someone could get back to me and this could be handle as good will. It’s a lot of money for him and very unfair! Thanks Dana

I HAD TO PAY £1000 DEPOSIT FOR THE EXCESS WHICH IS RIDICULOUS WHEN I PAID FOR EXCESS TO YOUR COMPANY.
Avoid like the plague! Couldn't use my credit card for unknown reasons at an airport recently so couldn't hire the car. Was forced to use an expensive alternative. Now they won't refund a penny even though I didn't hire a car with them. Wasn't expecting a full refund obviously but not to receive a penny back is atrocious.
I found Carrentals to be highly reliable and efficient. We rent cars in Europe frequently and being able to get your car and get on the road is very important. Car was 8. Excellent condition. No problems over the two weeks of travel. 👍 One suggestion. I know Venice is a challenging location for car rentals. If there was an easier way to direct customers to your check in desk that would be helpful. Signage for return was great, no problem on return. Catherine Ellenbogen Chicago
This portal for booking cars is a great site for booking and for benchmarking rental cars. More often I book a car but sometimes I book directly with a hire company when I find the rate more reasonable. I like the idea of the worry free product and have used this occasionally subject to the conditions in which I expect to drive. The website is easy to use and quite straightforward in terms of the process to book.

In my last booking in Dublin I was mislead on the ‘excess guarantee’ (what is even the point of this?!) and subsequently had to fork out a couple of hundred pounds at the collection desk to collect my car using a debit card. That being said, the staff handling my booking at the connected office in Sixth were extremely nice and waived the one way fee as well as giving me the best car in the category, and the return process was extremely fast and easy.
