Cruise, Steam & The Yorkshire Dales - first time booking and pleasantly surprised with overall trip, good value for money, with the two excursions included (barge & steam train), hotel clean and food good, friendly staff, just lacking some evening entertainment, good friendly coach load, driver Graham top class banter. Will book again.

I love going on holiday with Caledonian Travel. The people who you meet are very friendly and the drivers are usually great company.

Excellent holiday to Great Yarmouth from joining the coach to getting dropped off 5 days later. The Nelson Hotel was excellent and right on the seafront.

Shocking trip Mystery , was told that it was a new route. Would not recommend and would advise Caledonian to remove it ... The day began with an earlier than normal pick up, after 1hr 45mins we arrived in skegness( very rundown resort) for 5 hrs ( not a lot to do) found ourselves trying to kill time, back at the coach waiting. We travelled a further 2 hours to Corby, Hotel was in a shocking location, industrial shopping area, nothing to do . Highlight Lincoln visit on return journey The general feeling of ourselves and other passengers was disappointed 😞 Probably won't be booking another Mystery trip

Hi, the driver was very helpful and friendly enough, but he wasn’t very smart. Also he was a bit heavy on the brakes, there were times we thought we were nearly going through the windscreen.

Good time , Driver , hotel staff , hotel all great , only negative was after doing the Ferry Across The Mersey we had to sit waiting for an hour on the bus for a Caladonian bus bringing two ladies from Blackpool to go on the Beatles Tour, costing us an hour in Liverpool.

I booked afternoon tea on the steam train and took my daughter and grandson and a complete stranger was sat with us and made us feel uncomfortable as he didn’t speak to us but proceeded to eat most off the afternoon tea so if booking make sure there’s four off you as we couldn’t even get nice pictures as I didn’t think it was appropriate and also for hygiene reasons as the plates didn’t have tongs to choose your food it was by hand which wasn’t great

My second holiday with Caledonian Travel, and already have more booked. This time I did the Amsterdam and the Dutch bulb fields, and definitely enjoyed my trip to the Netherlands. The coach down to Hull and the overnight ferry is a great way to get to Europe, especially if like me you like being at sea, it definitely takes away the airport stress. Wee note for those like me who didn't think about it - when they say the wake up call will come at 7am over the intercom, it's 7am European time! If you have mobility issues, it's worth noting that in Amsterdam all tour coaches have to park in an area behind the train station, so there's a bit of a walk to the centre of the city. I can recommend doing a canal boat tour as a way to see a bit more than just walking around. There's also lots of walking in Keukenhof gardens - which I expected - but there is plenty of seating around the gardens too. The day at the Hague was also pleasant. I'd recommend the Heritage Tram tour to see as much as possible in the time allowed. Only thing to note is the hotel is quite a way from Amsterdam (first day) and with rush hour traffic we were quite late getting there, then getting our evening meal. On that too, when I was in Ireland on a Caledonian Travel trip last year, the hotel gave us three choices for each course. The hotel in the Netherlands it was one option only each course. And tea/coffee after dinner isn't a thing there. All in all a great short trip to the Netherlands, and I'd definitely travel to Europe again with Caledonian Travel

Had to wait to be seen as it was busy which to me is good sign. The young man was very pleasant and helpful.
