Excellent mystery weekend in Liverpool, Preston and Skipton Friendly driver. Hotel was of a good standard and good for an evening out. Evening meal was good from a small menu and excellent breakfast Would certainly go again excellent value for £
Booking was easy and staff were very helpful when I phoned.
Coach broke at Middlesbrough was hour and 40 min wait then driver dropped us off said 12.30 pick up no instructions or anything that’s 24 hours in Scarborough not two days! Only to be told later 1.30 pick up waited since 12 bored silly with given wrong info no working tv soap or shower gel in room no cot expected baby to sleep on single bed food was disguting undercooked and dirty filthy dishes out please see my email

We had a lovely visit to Skipton market ,sensible walking shoes to be worn and umbrella at hand just in case needed , and the afternoon tea on the Embsay and Bolton Abbey steam train ,it was beautiful, plenty tea and coffee served also , then off to best western hotel Bradford for our overnight stay , service at hotel was really good we had a double room booked but I had requested a twin if possible and on arrival was allocated a room with a double and a single so was happy , bed was soft and comfy and everything was clean, staff so friendly and helpful and food was beautiful, no need to dress up for evening meal ,casual is ok . breakfast next morning was also really good and buffet style so as much or less as you want, cereal, toast, fruit, ham, cheese , pastries, and a full English , tea, coffee, juices all provided couldn’t ask for anything more, then we set off at 9.30 to York for the day , good time as not hanging about waiting . Bus driver Peter was our designated driver.information and times where accurate that he gave us , thanks caladonian for another enjoyable trip 🤗
Great value for money and very friendly bus drivers. Hotels although some are a bit tired they are very clean and food choice really good.

I went into the local office located in the bus station. The member of staff was very polite, cheerful and helpful. He was able to answer all my questions. He also printed off all the details of our weekend away.

On Sunday was our very first bus trip with Caledonian travel, went to Whitby and Heartbeat country. The driver Kath was absolutely brilliant and full of chat with everyone, made me and my hubby feel really comfortable, very professional. Paul was very professional, chatty and a good laugh too. Kath and Paul was a pair of nutters (joke) but absolutely brilliant and very professional and definitely going to travel with Caledonian again
1. Driver Neil was possibly the best we ever had with Caledonian. He was a smooth driver, helpful, informative and very pleasant. 2. Britannia Hotel Ponteland was first class. Dining Room spotless and buffet display always clean and tidy with hot plates which is not always the case. Variety and quality of food first class. 3. Rooms more than adequate although bathrooms now getting a wee bit tired and needs updating.Great simple to use shower and lots of hot water. Our TV had a bad reception but this was rectified within half an hour. 4. Bar prices excellent - even cheap - which was a bonus when we have been used to getting the free drinks on many of our trips. 5. Driver coped wonderfully when experienced a tyre blow out but we were kept fully informed throughout the delay and although we didn't get to Holy Isle on the appointed day we were taken en route home which was marvellous. 6. Great trip for anyone who doesn't know this beautiful part of the country.
This is only my second trip with Caledonian and I have found them to be amazing. Great value for money and very organised when the trip comes around. However, I have just returned from a London Elvis trip which was great, the driver Paul was excellent and was very knowledgeable about our capital; my main issue was the hotel that was selected for our overnight stay. I have stayed in many budget hotels around Heathrow, but the Ibis budget hotel at Heathrow central, was a let down. Only one lift working, not a very welcome reception from the staff and the reception was on the first floor which I've never come across before. I think many of my fellow passengers felt the same as me.
We had a wonderful time in lake Garda, weather obviously helped. Coach travel was great, plenty of stops, great views/scenery going through France and Switzerland. We also had the company of two brilliant coach drivers who helped in any way they could. We have already booked a euro holiday for next year. Brilliant, thank you again.
