I've had the best hire car experience. Two staff stood out in particular; Ainar and Javier were so helpful. Ainar is exactly what you would put at the pinnacle of customer service. I was really worried about certain aspects of logistics around travel with my elderly father who has Alzheimer's and Ainar dealt with every obstacle quickly and professionally. The hire went well but some of the details weren't made clear about the return of the car. But following a slow response to my querys Ciara cleared up all the issues and I will be back if the price is right.

Budget car hire will charge more money to your credit card than the agreed balance owed and then blame this on the exchange rate.They tell you to contact your bank regarding this although it is not possible for the exchange rate to vary so much that the extra charge is justified.

Hired a car on the 30/09/2023 (early morning ) .The chap who looked after me was wonderful. I mentioned I was collecting my Uncle who needs a wheelchair to get around and he upgraded my Car , without me asking. He was friendly , courteous, and also professional. I hire from Budget all the time and find them very good .

The company's staff are cordial and very helpful. The car we hired was up to the standards I was expecting, the only fault was one of the two baby seats I hired was broken and held together with sellotape. If we would have been involved in a car accident the baby would not have survived. Apart from that I have a good opinion of the company

Dublin Airport staff changed by booking date/time for onward to Kerry after serious flight delay. Kerry staff also and excellent vehicle. Honest fuel and condition policy.

Staff sorted out pick up from Dublin Airport quickly and efficiently. Car was easily found in the multi storey car park. I had selected a small car, Toyota Aygo, went well, no issues mechanically. On leaving back to Dublin Airport, we'll sign posted and staff handled it quickly and effectively. Highly recommended

Hired from Cork Airport and was easy to pick up and return the car. Friendly and efficient service. If you ensure you have all the correct documents, read the T&Cs and have a credit card with sufficient credit to cover the excess, there will be no problem and is standard across all hire companies. Problems seem to occur when people just don't read things properly. The full excess was returned to my credit card within 24hrs of returning the car. Should there ever be a dispute over damage and whether it was pre-existing or not, always take plenty of photos when collecting the car or raise any concerns before driving away.

Very friendly and professional service at the Cork airport branche. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Great first impression to incoming tourists of Irish hospitality and just as nice for us ex-pats. Keep up the good service.

Watch out for this company, booked through an agency and on pick up instead of cleanly taking remainder of payment for the rental, added it to the interim 'agreement' and also added random fuel surcharge! Additionally, added £2,000 deposit. Had some damage during rental, very odd process ensues where they write up a manual form, and send you on your way saying they'll assess damage and charge for it in a few days... why not be transparent and do it right now?! Anyway, few days later credit card randomly charged, with damage figure and remainder of rental all on one charge - nothing itemised. Had to fight for full itemised invoice and other documents. Customer service non existant and very slow. No phone contact only email. Would not use again. Other companies far more transparent on fees and documents.
