Bought several Brinker & Eliza jewellery pieces – all faulty.* CS booked collection at the wrong time, then didn't reply to follow up emails, and took weeks to reply to reminders. Acknowledged faults but did not agree to a return, despite me setting out terms and timeline of UK consumer law, and full proof. Lied in emails about their past emails – despite me having a past record. Eventually stopped replying entirely. Horrid, horrid, gaslighting experience – so dishonest, low grade and disappointing. Love the curation at Browns but can't bring myself to shop their again due to law-breaking customer service.
*Two Completedwords jewellery pieces in the same order also arrived heavily tarnished. I contacted the brand directly, who kindly replaced these for me in just a matter of weeks. It seems Browns were using their Sale to offload faulty goods, with no thought for their customers. Sadly, I didn't have the same luck with the Brinker & Eliza pieces, since I had to deal with Browns directly. Just horrible service – I can't believe they get away with flouting UK consumer law in this way.
