Unhelpful with Faulty Item

An item I bought developed a fault, I contacted Browns about this but they refused to help saying that the time I contacted was outside of my consumer rights window. I contacted them to explain that this was not true and gave them email and order receipts but then they stopped replying to all my correspondence. They have sent me a faulty item and are now refusing to make this right.

SHAME ON BROWNS

They shipped me a wrong colour bracelet, i send an email to annouce this, they doesnt response, then i send bracelet back and they do not accept my return “because wrong colour”. They steal my money and also the bracelet. I give them 40 emails and never give me a response. Never recommend!

Do not purchase online,

I’ve purchased in store at Browns several times and never had an issue, HOWEVER, on this occasion, I purchased a piece of fine jewellery (necklace) that arrived damaged. It was a gift for my daughter and she was adamant that this was the style she wanted which only Browns and Liberty had in stock. Everything else was fine but the necklace had a kink in its fine chain and unfortunately the kink is stuck so would need to be taken to the jeweller to repair or I would need to send to the designer at my cost and they said they would repair (they are based in France so I would need to send at my own cost and have to take out insured delivery for £2000 which is almost £100 and then I would have to pay customs on the item again once returned). The item also arrived without any certificate of authenticity which this particular designers pieces all come with. Browns do not have any more of the particular style in stock for me to return and replace for my daughter and offered me a measly 5% damage discount to keep the item or I could return the item back for a full refund. I will obviously be returning the item despite the fact that my daughter really wanted this particular style, but in all honesty, I really expected a better level of customer service. Most companies offer a minimum of atleast 10% damage discount and it’s almost insulting to offer 5% off for something with missing documents and damage to the chain. Whilst I appreciate the agents on the phone were polite, I feel the customer service overall is lacking and unhelpful. They weren’t there to provide a resolution or take any accountability to have the item repaired themselves by sending to the designer. Unfortunately my daughter REALLY wanted this necklace for her 16th and we cannot find any more stock of it anywhere now. In hindsight I should have purchased from Liberty London instead, but now they don’t have it in stock either. Very disappointing. I have no choice but to send it back and pick her second choice of gift. Really expected better from a so-called luxury goods retailer. I’m not one to leave reviews but I really feel insulted by a 5% discount on a £2000 damaged necklace which they can’t sell on but won’t even reimburse me to have it repaired by the designer myself.

No delivery at all

I've been waiting for the express delivery (for which I paid extra for) of the purchased item for 1,5 weeks by now. According to the delivery status information the purchased item has not yet even left their premises. Despite several requests made regarding the delivery, no action has been taken by this company. Completely ignorant. Best to avoid.

I bought a shirt from here I didn’t even get to wear the shirt because once I put my head in the shirt ripped I send it back I even let them know the sawing of the shirt is coming out they said that’s not they problem once you buy a shirt the sawing is not supposed to come out or the shirt not supposed to rip like this they didn’t help me or anything I will never ever buy from this store again they are so easy to take your money like if you don’t work hard for your money unbelievable this is the first time this ever happened to me don’t buy form this store there clothes are not saw in correctly‼️‼️‼️‼️

Missing refund for weeks and no customer support response

I've been shopping at Browns for years with absolutely no issues, in fact it was one of my favorite places to shop! However, my most recent order has been nothing but a debacle. I've been emailing for over 3 weeks regarding a missing refund and in that time I received only a single reply stating that the refund had been issued. However, only a partial refund showed up on my credit card statement. I have sent email after email trying to resolve yet no assistance has been received. Browns customer service used to be reliable and quick, unfortunately that is no longer the case. I am no longer comfortable shopping with Browns due to the missing refund and completely absent customer support. It has already taken up far too much time and energy and I will now have to take the matter up with my credit card company.

Generally a good experience

Had a generally decent experience. Ordered leather SLP jacket on the 14th June, received on 19th June. The prices are great, much better than other places especially for Saint Laurent. The reason didn't give full stars is due to the bad performance from dhl

I didn't receive the item and Browns refuses to refund

I purchased a Gucci women's schoolbag from this website on May 1st. The delivery address is Macau. The order number is: YZNHBT. The other party showed that it was shipped at 03:20 in the morning on May 2 (Asia time). The carrier was DHL and the tracking number was 5155049480. The package was not dispatched after arriving at the Macau operation station. Instead, it was returned directly to the sender. I did not sign for it or touch the package. DHL Macau can also confirm this! Includes logistics information. Now the other party (website) refuses to refund. They say that the package sent does not match what they received! Put the responsibility on my side! I didn't receive the package at all. Why is the responsibility on my side? ?

Ich habe bei Browns Fashion ein Designer - T-Shirt bestellt, das in schwarz angegeben und abgebildet war - Versandkosten betrugen 10 Euro. Als es ankam, stellte sich heraus, dass das Shirt grün/grau war. Ich kontaktierte den Kundenservice 2x, erhielt nie eine Antwort. Ich sendete es zurück mit dem Grund der Retoure und dem Hinweis, mir die Versandkosten zu erstatten, da es fälschlicherweise ja ein Fehler ihrerseits war - heute ist das Geld erstattet worden: die Versandkosten wurden abgezogen!!! Geht gar nicht und ist sicherlich meine letzte Bestellung dort

Extremely disappointing experience.

Very, very disappointed with Browns Fashion. The website is clunky and offers extremely poor UX. I purchased an expensive white t shirt which arrived marked and stained. I emailed Browns Fashion Customer Service Team advising them of this and requested a replacement but never even received a response… Totally non-existent customer service. Hugely disappointing experience from start to finish. I would not recommend Browns Fashion to anyone. Try Matches or Mr Porter instead.

Denying a return that was in my possession for 1.5 hours

Returned some 'distressed Balenciaga Leopold ballet flats' my return is being rejected because they are 'more distressed and bent than how they were sent out'??? I had them in my possession for 1.5 hours before returning and tried on one shoe only before realising they weren't my style. The style of the shoe is that they are pre-distressed. I have been arguing this for days. I understand that your company is in financial difficulty but this is illegal. DO NOT SHOP HERE - SUPER DODGY!!! Mytheresa, Matches and Net have much better customer service. Browns have stolen £360 from me.

Non-Existent Customer Service

Good luck if you email Browns Fashion with a question or request -- they never got back to me, despite three attempts. Extremely unprofessional. Any company that does not respond to inquiries at all is not a legitimate company, in my view, and yet they tout their purported "high standards" in this review section, where I can see that many others are complaining.

Unpleasant Experience with Browns Fashion - Disappointing Customer Service

Extremely dissatisfied with BrownsFashion's customer service. Tried to address a bag issue, provided valid receipt, but faced resistance due to an email mismatch. Bag purchased from Jacquemus brand, who were willing to help but couldn't intervene as it was a Browns Fashion purchase. Disappointed in Browns Fashion's lack of empathy and uncooperative stance. At least they could ask to see more details about the bag condition, since it is a expensive bag. Just use this bag for one year on special events and its damage, it doesn't look normal to me.
