I am really happy with the level of customer service Bord Gais provides. Also, the Electricity and Gas rates are good!

Hi, Further to my review on 17th of April in relation to bord gais,(and an apology from andrew)with the promise of receiving a call from bord gais customer care, I have recieved no contact in relation to the issue.To reiterate, bord gais owe me a total of£63.18 in relation to lost money on my p.a.y.g meter and p.a.y.g top up card. I'm sure if the shoe was on the other foot and I owed bord gais this amount the reply to my complaint would be instantaneous.It certainly shows that companies like bord gais are only interested in profit and gain for their own business. This issue has been dragging.g on since the third of April and at a minimum I should expect a full refund and if the company have any dignity, monetary compensation for the stress and loss of my valuable time trying to resolve the matter, Regards, John linehan.
Was with electric Ireland initially but their bills were more like think of a number. Used bunkers.ie a year ago and Bord Gais was the cheapest. They send me a notification to read my meter it’s easy to submit. I shopped around agin this year and Bord Gais still the cheapest

I had such a hard time with them to change the electricity bill to my name because the previous tenant when he closed down his account Bord Gais did not read the meter they simply entered an estimate, so when I tried to register on my name they asked me to send a photo of my day and night meter reading and I did… and then they told me that they could not conclude my registration because the meter reading they had was higher than the meter reading I sent them. But OBVIOUSLY the number wouldn’t match because the reading they had was an estimate! And didn’t even had a record of that, I had to find it out with the previous tenant… they only sorted that out just because I basically sent a complaint to ESB and cc them on the email. Awful!
Easily explained and clear information
I found this company gave a very good service and value for money.
More empty promises; Submitted negative review on Trustpilot. Customer service message left to contact them, all sounding very nice, apologetic and helpful. Contacted them as per their instructions 13 days ago and still no word. Just more of the same really. Response online is just a box ticking exercise to appear to be resolving the issue for the greater public.
Easy to book a service. Engineer was polite and explained everything in plain English.
website is super easy to use, incentive offers are brilliant, and of course the per unit is currently the best
