I find everything easy with my account... never had an issue and always looked after... whenever I am contacted it has always been for my benefit...just a very good service
please stay away.. poor customer service and rude attitude .. never spproaching them again. had bad experience at 3 occasions.
Failed to refund €775 they owed me when the account was closed. And 8 weeks later, despite multiple calls and emails, they still haven't refunded. They even lie and say they have paid. Avoid at all costs.
The online renewal process is easy to understand and so straight forward to complete

This week I had a call from Bord Gais as my contract is up for review. The girl that helped me, Emer, was exceptionally knowledgeable, helpful, patient and made me feel valued as a customer.
I used to change my provider every year. But I was always going back to Bord Gais. Therefore, they are the best and the easiest to deal with
renewing was easy and discount were increased from last year. However still thinking all energy companies are profiteering from current global uncertainty. Will be interesting to see end of year financial results and bonuses issued at the consumers expense.
The engineer was professional and knowledgeable about all aspects of the boiler regulations.

Bord Gais cancelled their scheduled boiler service for me 3 times in a row making it 3 years since the boiler was serviced Totally incompetent Best go Private
From the time we put in the service call we had a technician to our premises in 3 hours. The technician was efficient and found the problem immediately. He had to close our boiler down in the interest of safety but it was the correct decision. Bord Gas acted immediately to get us a plumbing company through a subsidiary company called LOCAL HEREOS. Expensive but so is everything in Ireland.
