Had them for 5 years. The best protection, I have never had any PC issue and im online all the time. BUTTT last year, a staff use my debit card to purchase $400 of sport betting. Thank GOD my bank USA... See more

The antivirus software is excellent and easy to use, and their commitment to customer service is superb.
I chose bitdefender because it was reccommended by Which. I paid for the standard package and vpn. Whenever it was installed on my laptop, I had no internet. I contacted the company and I don't know whether the remedial advice came from a bot or an agent, but it didn't work out and it was probably beyond my technical ability to rectify the matter. I demanded a refund after I managed to uninstall the program. update 25/03/25: full refund received thank you so I've upgraded the rating accordingly.
Access to a Bitdefender technician was immediate when I phoned Customer Support UK phone number and the technical support technician was very calm, patient, supportive and reassuring. My problem was quite complex apparently but was solved overnight and as soon as I logged in the following morning I had full access to my computer.
Absolute disaster of a full System scan. Deleted lots of my software, and my downloads, and some registry entries FROM OFFICIAL MICROSOFT PROGRAMS that I manually installed....OMG OMG I had to waste 24 hours in 3 days to do the scan and recover from the atrocious quarantine system.... IT CANT EVEN RESTORE MY FILES TO THE PREVIOUS LOCATION. so I have to save it on desktop and move them to the original location xdddd
Goed product met zeer goed bereikbare helpdesk. Je kunt de helpdesk zowel telefonisch (in het Engels) als per mail bereiken. De wacht- en reactietijden zijn kort en de antwoorden adequaat.
I have Bitdefender Total Security installed in 7 systems. After using Bitdefender for a few years I had some issues with false positives- not an unusual occurrence with all antivirus apps. The support staff at Bitdefender rose to the occasion and worked to solve the issues at hand; they were friendly, persistent, and capable. Overall, a solid application and a good performance, in my experience.

Ticket ouvert en mars 2024 pour un dysfonctionnement. Ils répondent 1 an après, en mars 2025. On peut constater qu'ils sont très réactifs !! Je suis allé ailleurs évidement.
HORRIBLE SOFTWARE HORRIBLE SUPPORT --blocked my website -no menu item will allow an exception- total frustration -looked everywhere, wasted my whole morning-finally contacted support ---GOT A BOT, yeah right , very helpful, took a long time till i got DIDI S , a live person who was totally unhelpful, and never solved my problem......Uninstalling and installing a competitors product now----horrible support experience, horrible experience with their software- AVOID!!!
The scam misses suspicious elements in my calendar and also lots of the fixes are manual and steps are not explained well.
La première journée de l’installation de Bitdefender, je note un problème d’écoute de films à partir de ma plate-forme hélix de Vidéotron. Le film projeté à l’écran est obtenu par la diffusion par un canal Super Écran, Crave tv et est projeté grâce à mon abonnement mensuel à la plateforme de Vidéotron. Les films sautent ou figent par fraction de secondes par récurrences continues. Une écoute désagréable. Quelle est la solution? Je me suis mis en contact telephone avec la ligne d'aide de Vidéotron pour ce problème qui a duré deux jours. Le problème est disparu après leur intervention qui a ré-initaliser le signal internet. Je tente de trouver le meilleur fureteur internet en attendant de tenter pour ma première expérience SecurePass... Pas évident pour moi car je n'ai pas encore compris comment transferer des Mots de Passe des différentes plateformes...
I am having a frustrating time working with BitDefender. I dumped Norton in favor of B/D. I downloaded the trial version of the "Total" package (30 day trial) and a couple of days later, the trial version of "premium VPN" (1 week trial) within about two weeks I decided to buy the "Premium Security Package" that would cover 10 devices and include Premium VPN. -I keep getting reminders to buy Premium VPN. I don't know why that happens. -I want to activate Secure Pass but, all I get is the step to download the extension to FireFox and nothing else. -Today I got and email inviting me to activate Password Manager. It directs me to go to Central and select Password Manager on the left sidebar. There is no icon for Password Manager on the left sidebar of my Central homepage. My only option is Secure Pass; and still i can only download the FireFox extension and nothing else. So, I still have no password managing function with B/D. -One of the benefits of choosing the Premium Security package was priority access to tech support/customer service. The "Chat" icon for support does not work, the "Call Us" icon urges me to use "Chat" and the email option seems to be a hit or miss endeavor. In one case, prior to purchasing, I received 2 different answers to my email question from 2 different techs and neither one was correct. I eventually found the answer on my own. -I am trying to get some help in the community chat but, not finding any success there, either. -Also, I have received an alert that a security issue needs to be fixed on my phone. When I click remote fix, nothing happens. It just spins for as long as leave the phone open. After nearly a month, this is not looking like a good choice.
Habe mehr Probleme mit Bitdefender als ohne. System ist des öffteren sehr langsam..... Arbeitspeicher wird mit 1GB!!!! belegt. Leider bekommt man sehr wenig Unterstützung bei Problemen. Der Preis ist ja auch mal Utopisch hoch mit 179€ für ein Jahr!! Bin leider noch ein weiteres Jahr an den Verein gebunden. Aber bestimmt NIE wieder. Leider kann man keine minus Sterne vergeben.
I feel sure with the system and I got quickly help from the customer support, when I had a problem.
Great antivirus product which means my laptop and smartphone and any other device which uses Bitdefender is protected. Customer service is excellent as a query is responded within less than 24 hours so very good, something I had not expected so left pleasantly surprised.
Resolved my issue in next to no time with very helpful staff, Very courteous and friendly.
Just got a msg from Bitdefender that their app, the one that protects my devices, has got a "bug." I'll be informed by Bitdefender when the "bug" problem is solved. Does this mean my devices are unprotected?

Excellent support for an excellent piece of technology. BD is a top AV software, and has all features anyone can imagine, for an affordable price. The licensing is also great when you have more than 5 devices.
Have used Bitdefender for years, but I keep auto-renewal off. Don't ever let vendors charge me without review and approval, plus there are always much better deals available. BD charges double the annual price to existing accounts. BD charged my VISA 17 days before the renewal date without giving me prior notice. When I lodged a complaint, and requested a refund, the response was that I had selected auto-renewal on my account. They then offered me two years for the same price. No refund of the charge. Later, I checked my BD account page and it showed the date that I turned auto-renew off two years ago. Never turned it back on. So BD turned it back on without my permission. I went through their process to turn auto-renew off again. Had to go through multiple pages designed to keep you from doing so. At the end, it displayed a list of services that I will no longer receive by not auto-renewing. BD will no longer auto update, you lose support, and control of your account. Doesn't matter how good your product might be, this is a really crappy way to treat customers.
