Since the capital fund took over the cruise, they started to cut the cost, taking out the signature small things out of the offering and benefit, that means a lot to the loyal customers, this will lead Azamara lose edge and customer for the long run. The onshore special evening event, from opera to music, beautiful and magic moments mean a lot to many, all gone. The special welcome and the in-room small things all slowly changed, the capital fund has no clue how to run cruise and build loyalty, what they are doing seems short term benefit for the immediate profit will lead Azamara lose the competitiveness and loyal customers.

Customer service is a joke.

Customer service is a joke. My mom called Nikki to book two rooms for out family. Nikki said she would hold the rooms and call the next day at 10am to confirm the flights. She never called back. By the time we figured out that she wasn't going to call, we called back only to find that she never held the rooms and the sailing was now sold out. This is completely irresponsible and has completely ruined our trip.

Another great cruise. 2nd one. Nothing can beat Azamara for us—staff is always friendly and relaxed. Great service, no queues or waiting. No surprising bill at the end. The food is magnificent, and the stops were just as azamazing—each one better than the last. Big shout-out to Edward the waiter and our stateroom attendant, Leo. Thanks, man! DJ Tavo… arriba arriba! But most of all, East Pearl—the best cruise ship party band. They’ll get you of your chair!! Thx for enjoying us on our Journey... looking forward to the next one

Worst Wi-Fi at Sea – My Experience with Azamara Azamara ships do have a lot going for them: excellent food, beautiful ports, and generally decent customer service. However, during my cruise from March 14 to April 2, 2025, from Singapore to Leam Cabang, Tailand there was one huge disappointment: the worst internet connection I’ve ever encountered on a ship. The trouble started right from the login process. The login page led nowhere, and when I approached the reception for help, they only managed to resolve it the following day – after some confusion. The basic Wi-Fi package cost a whopping 680 euros, yet the connection was so poor that video calls were impossible. Messages often arrived late or not at all, and uploading or downloading files was a real struggle. Hoping for faster speeds, I paid an additional 180 euros for the “fastest” internet package available. Unfortunately, it was set up incorrectly at the reception, causing overlaps with my old package. The result: even more connectivity issues and a week of back-and-forth until finally someone was brought in who identified the problem. It turned out the upgrade was never properly activated, and both plans were running simultaneously. Only after resetting my account did the internet become somewhat usable. I reported these problems to customer service multiple times, but they showed little interest in actually fixing them. Instead of practical solutions, they offered excuses like “The internet at sea can be slow,” “China blocks this and that,” etc. It felt like they were just trying to brush me off. This was especially disappointing, considering Azamara usually delivers good service. Compared to other cruise lines, however, Azamara’s Wi-Fi clearly falls short – both in terms of speed and its complicated setup and the service It’s a real shame, given that the rest of the trip was great. Thankfully, there are plenty of other cruise companies to choose from. Finally, it’s worth emphasizing that the reception staff were not only unhelpful but also astonishingly incompetent and simply not open to take the problems serious – a true low point of an otherwise decent cruise.

Re my review at the end of December …

My review at the end of December seemed to provoke a response from Azamara expressing regret and apologising for the delay in responding to me, also promising a response from their customer service team which might take up to seven days. That was almost a month ago! Just written again. This is not a company that believes in good customer service. Like so many businesses they just don't seem to have the mechanism to deal with things promptly (or at all) when they go wrong. Very sad as it loses them customers. It's not as if they are the only cruise line out there,

Azamara Offers Space X Star Link Hi Speed Internet

As always, Azamara offers fine food, service, ambiance, and entertainment. Just finished a Caribbean cruise on Onward. But now they offer high speed internet service on all their ships thru Space X Star Link. Download speeds of over 60 MBps and Upload speeds of over 7 MBps. Ken

Var med Azamara Quest fra Dubai til…

Var med Azamara Quest fra Dubai til Singapore i november/december 2022. Det var mit 10. togt og så var det tid til at prøve Azamara. Tager normalt med Celebrity, der er klasser over eksempelvis Costa og MSC. Azamara er så en klasse over Celebrity. Lille skib, der medfører intimitet/stort fælleskab. Selv kaptajn Johannes indgik i fælleskabet. Fantastisk mad, specielt på specialrestauranterne Prime C og Aqualina. Det er gourmet. Alt kører på skinner og er velorganiseret. Antal af personale er stort i forhold til gæster. Det er bestemt meget dyrere end ex. Costa og MSC og også noget dyrere end Celebrity. Men man skal tage med i betragtning at det er all inclusive. Drikkepakke, drikkepenge, WiFi og et fantastisk arrangement i Colombo, Sri Lanka var inkluderet. Arrangementet White Night var ligeledes en oplevelse. Dertil kommer at skibet pga. sin størrelse altid lægger til kaj i centrum af byerne. Eksempelvis Langelinie i København i stedet for krydstogtsterminalen i Nordhavnen. Andre steder er afstanden mellem centrum og krydstogtsterminalen betydelig længere. Alt i alt. Prøv det, men ikke med børn (uegnet). Målgruppen er bestemt +50. Vores 11. togt bliver også med Azamara….

AZAMARA QUEST. Dejligt skib,rigtig sødt og veltrænede…

Dejligt skib,rigtig sødt og veltrænede personale,alt spiller skibet har en dejlig intim atmosfære på grund af størrelsen, man fornemmer virkelig at kunden er i centrum. Det er ikke et skib for børn men dejligt stille også ved pool området, logistikken ombord samt på ture kører som et velsmurt maskineri med alt hvad der hører til. Det der gør at det bliver fire stjerner og ikke fem er: Hår rock musik ved poolen til ældre mennesker. Det var ikke muligt at få alcolfri øl på drikkepakken; de havde øl på 0,4 procent , hvis man ville have alkoholfri øl skulle dette til købe det, efter møde med chefen blev dette dog ændret, der er mange tros retninger samt folk der ikke tåler alkohol samt hvis du skal køre bil i Sverige er der nul tolerance så få det nu på programmet fremover. Råvarerne til maden må gerne være af lidt bedre kvalitet, skinken er skinke stykker som er sammen presset m mere. Jeg ved branchen er presset for tiden og besætningen gør alt hvad der står i deres magt for at gøre det så godt som muligt og hatten af for det de fortjener stor ros alle sammen høj som lav Alt i alt en super god oplevelse også denne gang, glæder mig til at komme ombord en anden gang og opleve den dejlige stemning og de helt specielle steder man kan besøge på grund af skibets størrelse. PS vi sejlede med Azamare Quest fra Lissabon til København gennem Kilerkanalen. Mvh Kim Andersen

Brilliant

We went on the Azamara Quest recently, it was our first time sailing with them and a first post Covid cruise. Everything was amazing and nothing was too much trouble. The ship is immaculate, the staff attention to detail was second to non. Because it is a small ship you sail right into the centre of cities. Masks are still warn moving around the ship and by all of the staff all of the time. The food was great, we didn't have the premium drinks package and was very happy with what was provided. Can't wait to sail with them again.

Still waiting for refund more than 3 months later!

Azamara cancelled our April 2020 cruise due to covid. We took the credit but then requested refund in March 2021. Over 3 months later and still waiting for almost $10,000 to be refunded. Booked with travel agent who then booked with wholesaler. All are passing the buck! Disgraceful conduct.

Schönes Boutique Schiff

Wir hatten eine schöne Reise mit Azamara Pursuit von Buenos Aires nach Valparaiso.Feundliches Personal,gute Küche und nur ca.650 Passagiere.Der einzige Minuspunkt waren die VIEL zu teuren Ausflüge.Die Ausflüge mit Taxis sind um 50Prozent billiger.Wir würden Azamara wieder buchen.Engiischkenntnsse sind erforderlich.
