They were flexible where it came to picking up the car (as I had to come from abroad). Car and papers were available at the fixed appointment. Apart from minor faults (some of which stated in the lot's descripition), the car was in a very good shape.

Very unclear, no point of contact, no one to come to you to ask for help. 9:15 we were there, 11:15 we only left again. Very poor reception and cooperation!

Ik heb via Troostwijk een auto gekocht en dat was achteraf een van de grootste fouten die ik had kunnen maken. De staat van de auto bleek ronduit gevaarlijk. De achterklepruit is letterlijk ontploft in mijn gezicht. Alleen doordat ik mijn hand ervoor hield, heb ik voorkomen dat het glas mijn gezicht ernstig verwondde – mijn hand lag helemaal open. Geen waarschuwing, geen aansprakelijkheid, geen enkele nazorg vanuit Troostwijk. Daarnaast: • De motor lekte olie; • De remblokken en remschijven waren zwaar verroest; • De APK verliep twee dagen na aankoop – wat een absolute farce is; • Al deze gebreken zijn nooit gecommuniceerd. Troostwijk verschuilt zich achter “geen garantie” en “je koopt wat je ziet”, maar dit soort ernstige technische mankementen, waaronder direct gevaar voor de bestuurder, vallen niet onder normale slijtage of gebruik. Dit is nalatigheid. Ik heb ze meerdere keren benaderd, maar uiteindelijk werd de communicatie stopgezet. Geen excuses, geen oplossing, geen enkele verantwoordelijkheid. Koop hier niet als je waarde hecht aan veiligheid, transparantie of klantenservice. Wat ik heb meegemaakt had veel erger kunnen aflopen.

Malgré le standing du site, j'ai été désagréablement surpris par la l'accueil mais par le comportement des personnes lors de livraison. Aucune écoute et même une volonté de se débarrasser du client malgré un véhicule qu'ils avaient en été inapte à la circulation.

Vooropgesteld, dit was de eerste keer dat ik een auto via deze route aangeschaft heb, dus ben niet ervaren in deze wereld. Ik ben zeer correct geholpen door de medewerkers, ook diverse keren telefonisch. Eenmaal op bestemming moest ik ze wel vertellen dat dit voor de eerste keer was en of ik een beetje begeleiding kon krijgen met wat er van mij verwacht werd. Nadat dit duidelijk was ben ik perfect geholpen, zou dit zeker nogmaals doen.

Voor de eerste keer een kavel (Volvo XC90) middels gunning "gewonnen". De kijkdag helaas niet kunnen bijwonen, maar de gok gewaagd en ook in de overtuiging dat het in principe is what you see is what you get. Echter ben ik van mening dat er een aantal zaken niet in lijn zijn met de informatieplicht die op de verkoper rust (niet Troostwijk dus, die in deze tussenpersoon was). Wel had Troostwijk de plicht (art. 7 voorwaarden) de kavel naar beste weten te omschrijven, o.a. op basis van de informatie van de verkoper (die dus informatieplicht heeft). Zo gaf de omschrijving aan dat de onderhoudshistorie deels bij de auto zou zitten (die zit er geheel niet bij), had Troostwijk kunnen melden dat accu niet i.p.v. gewoon even leeg, maar gewoon helemaal plat was en was het Carfax rapport niet beschikbaar. Hier heb ik tijdig (voor einde veiling) om gevraagd, maar het werd pas verstrekt na afhalen kavel (hier stond best relevante info in). Optisch was het voertuig van binnen en buiten in veel mindere staat dan omschreven (de standaard opmerking "gebruikerssporen/-schades en slijtages rondom naar leeftijd en km-stand dekt m.i. zeker niet lading"). Tot slot bevatte de boordcomputer en het dashboard diverse meldingen die storingen/gebreken aangeven. Dit had Troostwijk geen moeite gekost om te melden, want het was gewoon inzichtelijk. Met de platte accu ben ik uiteindelijk goed op weg geholpen, maar wel meteen extra kosten gemaakt. Dit alles maakt dat de ervaring matig is en ik het voor een keer heb geprobeerd, maar daar zal het wel bij blijven.

I bought a Mercedes SL320, lot number A1-27614-54. In the photos, there were clearly some imperfections and problems, when the car arrived to me... good for scrap. Multiple problems that the seller did not mention anything about. To start with, the convertible top mechanism was missing, which is about $1000 alone, the tailgate lock was broken, the radio was broken, the speakers were missing, the control units were missing, the engine was terrible, it wouldn't even start, the radiator was broken, a LOT of plastics and parts were missing, the rear fenders were bent, all hidraulic system's broken with leaks everywhere, some chassis part were cut with a grinder and some were welded very bad, some cables were cut, some seat adjustment were not working, the description said it has 177.000 km, but in reality it was miles. Please be careful what you buy, not all the problems are listed. I bought this car knowing it had problems, but oh my god, nothing was good about it. And the main problem was that none of the problems I listed here were in the description. Don’t get me wrong, it is a risk you assume when you buy cars at auction, but this was by far the worst one. After a close inspection, I can not save anything from this car. The description only said “Signs of wear/damage and wear all around by age/mileage. The car has been sold as a result, various imperfections and malfunctions have been observed.” and when I called the seller, they said car runs and drive and the only problems are the ones that can be seen on the photos. So yeah… stay away if you see this description in a lot. If you don't have money to lose, stay away.

The process of buying a car (as a NL resident) was very smooth. Official transfer of the vehicle was done quickly. Staff were very friendly and open for communication. When it comes to buying the car, personal recommendation would be to never bid without viewing it in person. My car had some scratches and damages in bumper and throughout body that were not displayed online but engine itself and the overall performance is fine. (Bought it 2 days ago).

By auction is no information about caution (it is if it stays in NL you have to pay BPM) and at pickup they inform you that you have to pay BPM and receive it later back or pay them 242€ and go to Germany to arrange export

The delivery proces was quick and easy. Corresponding with Automotive Auctions, after the allocation, before the delivery went great. I'll buy again.

Sold me a car with all kind of alarmbells going of which caused me to head to the nearest garage in the next town because it was unsafe to drive. This while being told by email that if the advert didn't say anything about alarms, there wouldn't be any. Hopefully the company will sort this out in a professional way with me.

They didn't provide a phone number to guide you there, with the location. My Pick-up driver with the platform, had to go around the whole building to identify where this guy was. Also they haven't called me to ask where I was. Dissapointing experience! Update: I finally hot the car papers, 2 weeks after I Pick-up the car. The guys from Troostwijk Auctions did they best. I guess that not every deal goes smooth, but I appreciate their effort to get it done. So, I will change my evaluation. I recommend them and hope that future clients will have a smooth experience. After all, we learn about eachother fmwhen faced with the difficulties.

Bij automotive auctions tiel een audi a6 gekocht via de veiling. We zijn super goed geholpen door de mannen van Automotive auctions in Tiel! We werden verwelkomd en mochtend rond kijken, we kregen lekkere koffie en hebben genoten van de uitzicht op de auto’s!

Ik heb een auto via de veiling gekocht. Deze komt uit Japan. Er stond in de tekst dat o.a. invoerrechten betaald zijn en Japanse documentatie aanwezig. Bij aankomst in Boxmeer werd mij verteld dat ik zelf een kenteken moet aanvragen en nog BPM moet betalen. Nu heb ik zelf onderzoeksplicht, maar normaal staat erbij dat er nog een extra bedrag op de factuur betaald dient te worden. Enige wat ik meekreeg was dat ik het zelf beter had moeten uitzoeken...

First time when I buy a car from an auction, easy access and nice personnel. The car was as they described, I look with interest to come again.

Het duurde iets langer dan verwacht maar we konden in de showroom kijken en kregen drinken. Wat een top service!
