Really bad customer service
I really liked the shopping experience from Autodoc.co.uk. It was easy to apply my car to the filter and the items arrived really quickly. That's where the good ends and the bad begins.... One of the boot struts I ordered for my RS4 was faulty, the boot wouldn't open with it in. I removed it and the boot opened fine with just the other. I opened a ticket under "other request" as I didn't see an option for "replacement part" and I didn't want a refund. The ticket went unresponded to for a week until I contacted AutoDoc and asked what was going on. Dan from the customer services team said that my ticket wasn't responded to because I used the wrong option. I would've thought they would at least respond to the case rather than just ignore it. Now, even though I purchased the item from AutoDoc and logged the faulty part case on the day I received the part. Autodoc have now told me that it needs to go through the manufacturers warranty rather than them replace the defective part. Now I have to wait another week for these guys to "do an investigation" or for the manufacturer to perform the investigation. An investigation on what, I have no idea as I still have the part and they have not made any effort or request for the part back. The returns service from these guys is absolutely atrocious..
