Laura as really helpful from student support I’m having issues with receiving my student finance and I might get kicked out my apartment because of it and she was very empathetic
As a prospective online Master's student I called Arden uni together with several other UK unis after I had checked their online info to get answers I had carefully written down. After I dialled their 008 customer service number and had selected that I am a prospective student I waited for 42 minutes in a queue before their telephone system hung up the 'call'. If their marketing department is substandard to such an extreme degree (no pun intended LoL) I rather don't want to know how 'good' their customer service line is after I paid my study fees and enrolled... Plus there is and Office for Students (officeforstudents.org.uk) "Condition B3 assessment report for Arden University" dated 23 July 2024 in which the University' organisational admin structure has been deemed as in need of improvement which excessive waiting times for enrolled students to get basic requests dealt with. I'd rather pay a slightly higher study fee and join a reputable UK uni with a highly knowledgeable and accessible student service rather than ending up in and internal admin Waterloo with a profit orientated private uni company that is saving on the wrong end.

I had a really positive experience with Arden Student Support, especially Jake. He responded quickly and was very kind, understanding and reassuring. I opened up about feeling disappointed in myself, and he really made me feel heard and supported. He clearly explained my options and reminded me that I’m not going through this alone, which meant really a lot to me. Before his response I was feeling quite anxious, but that went away straight after Jake got back to me. His support has helped me feel much more confident and positive about returning to my studies. I love this University. Unfortunately I found this in my last year. The teacher talk really nicely and the program have lot of class activities which helps to understand more the topic and your assignment. If I could i would study more here but I graduated with 2.1 Upper Second-Class Honours . Im very shy person my previous university i couldn’t engage in the class, But in this university I was in top. Thank you
I want to take a moment to thank Wendy Lo. I was offered a success coach through Arden, and I couldn't have been given a better one. Wendy has changed my life, and she referred me to have an ADHD screening with SPDL. Upon the screening, it has been noticed that I also have Dyslexia, which I had no idea about. Without Wendy, I would have just kept on struggling. Thank you once again, Wendy, and I am sure you will help many other students like me in your time at Arden.

If you are looking for a university that ignores tens of emails, leaves you on hold for 'infinity,' and then suspends your studies due to their own clerical errors, Arden is for you. I applied in July, they failed to send my enrolment confirmation to Student Finance on time. Despite my constant follow-ups, they blocked my account for non-payment - a debt created entirely by their own negligence. I’ve missed three semesters. No management response, no accountability, just automated debt threats from Credit Control while my actual requests for help go unanswered for 90+ days. This isn't higher education, it's a bureaucratic black hole.
I attended last year to do a business management course I requested evening classes and the put me on a day time course I withdrew waited a new term only to be enrolled on another day course phone rings for ages no support available waste of time and money do not go here!!!!

Student support is absolutely terrible. The only thing they really care about is that you leave them a five-star positive review after they reply to an email in which they basically ignored your actual request, and keep responding like robots, repeating the exact same version of events. Since we are talking about student support, they should keep in mind that we are students, and that we study and work at the same time, so we have busy lives and we struggle every day to reach our goals. Because of that, these people should be able to listen as human beings and try to help, and they should in some way be on our side and try to assist us, instead of just applying their stupid rules - rules that don’t even make sense, because they don’t take into account the reality of the situation, but that they insist on enforcing in a rigid, almost mechanical way simply because the only thing they care about is avoiding any risk for themselves in case someone questions them. They don’t care about the ethical purpose of their job, they don’t care about actually helping students, and dealing with them is like dealing with robots - or even worse, like talking to a wall. Instead of trying to understand what the person is asking and why, they make accusations and judgments, and they don’t even stop for a moment to understand what kind of support the person needs, support that we deserve as students. We deserve to be supported and helped in our academic path, regardless of the type of help we are asking for. So this is not about winning an argument or proving a point, it’s about providing support, and that is exactly what they are not capable of doing.

Arden University has been the worst academic and financial experience I’ve ever had. They reported completely false information to Student Finance England, which created an artificial debt of around £8,000 in my name. They billed me for a semester I never attended, refused to refund an overpayment, and repeatedly sent payment demands even after I officially withdrew. Their administration is chaotic, unprofessional, and careless with student records — at one point they even acted as if I had never enrolled. If you value your time, money, and sanity, avoid Arden at all costs.
They won’t send you your money back. I have requested for a refund in JANUARY and after tons and tons of forms and emails it is MID MARCH and I still haven’t heard from anyone. They are DISHONEST PEOPLE and honestly I am now afraid of losing my money. Don’t trust them.
Adam has been very helpful, during induction he has supported me made me understand he was clear with with the induction such a friend person, he was supportive and positive, I saw him again on campus he helped with my login ID cards and set up everything I truly appreciate all the support Arden has provided to me as student
I needed support / advice, couldn't find it on the online portal as I am a new student. I got in touch by email and was expecting a response in a day or two, but I was surprised to get a quick response of Emily from the Newcastle student hub team. After couple of exchanges she managed to get the IT support to solve my issue. Overall I was very impressed on how swiftly this was done in a matter of 2 hours. Thank you Emily.
