Excellent Service
I cannot fault the service I received from Rachel Mack. She went that extra mile to ensure that she was able to offer me exactly what I wanted from my river cruise choice. I had many questions and requirements which she dealt with in a friendly, helpful manner whilst remaining professional at all times. It was a pleasure to deal with her, she is a credit to APT.

Fabulous boat, wonderfull holiday.
Fabulous boat, immaculately maintained, excellent ports of call, enthusiastic and informative Tour Director, plenty of food and drink, ( though served by less than enthusiastic staff, no eye contact, little rapport ). Overall, an exceptionally good trip. We would strongly recommend APT to anyone considering a small motor yacht cruise.,

Great time
The whole experience with this lovely ship including the staff, the food and drink, the room, the visits and the excellent cruise director was memorable. The name on the review is incorrect. It should read " David Little ".

Food & staff on board were excellent! The entertainment was extremely talented but the same night after night. Long way to travel for tours which would put me off going again. Limited comfort breaks on tours and out of reach for anyone unable to walk up hills.

Great holiday
Great company. Great staff great holiday Disappointed with the sun deck. Not enough sun beds and a lot of wasted space, which was noticeable when docked with other similar boats that had jacuzzi and small workout area on the sun deck.

This was our first APT river cruiseβ¦
This was our first APT river cruise experience and was on the Danube. Liked: cabins/bathrooms were cleaned each day and were well appointed. Bed was comfortable. Food was ok to good Disliked - Paperwork preceding the cruise - not so good - communication/arrangements once arriving at the hotel prior to joining the ship/boat, very very poor. Not told that the coach journey would be in excess of 4 hrs and not given lunch or water.

Idyllic Adriatic Cruiseβ¦
Having travelled with the Company before, we expected a first class holiday which we got. The ship and crew particularly, the bar staff were very helpful and joked with us without being overly familiar Food and drink was excellent. Places visited very interesting. Cruise Director efficient, friendly and very helpful. All in all an Idyllic cruise. One hiccup with transport home when driver seemed over tired coming from Heathrow and we had concerns about his driving. As this was a third party contractor arranged by ROL/APT beyond their control

Pleasure all the way!
Firstly, because it was first. Thomas, our "Tour Director/Guide/organiser was exemplary. He always went the extra mile from constant help/attention to those less able than the average, to extraordinary good humour whether individually or to the group as a whole and yet sincere always. In him you have a real standard bearer! The ship was excellent. - two ships in our case - the water level was low lower down the Rhine/Danube. The views, constant views were a joy, whether nature or the glorious castles and palaces. The tours were great, only marred in our case by the constant 37 degree plus temperature! We have "cruised" many times, large ships, long distance. We are sold on river cruise!!

The whole thing was a great disappointment. Do not use APT. Customer service abysmal.
The whole thing was a great disappointment. Not enough time at stops to look at the town/ feature/ landscape. Very early mornings - sometimes before sun-up. A sightseeing tour before sun-up??? Everything was very rushed, cases outside hotel room door 6am. One comment from the tour guide was "sooner we leave here, sooner we get to our hotel and enjoy a drink in the bar!!" Freedom of choice is not so when one choice has restricted numbers. On complaint to head office on return to UK, customer service was abysmal. Refund of a certain element was sparse with no "good will" for "holiday not as expected" or "stress" or "disappointment". We went on a similar tour covering the same ground with a different coach company 10 years ago and compared notes- the previous company was miles better with ample time at each town or featured stopping place. Wholly unsuitable for the more mature person. I would not recommend APT to anyone. Even my travel agent is reluctant to use them again.
