Excellent Service
I cannot fault the service I received from Rachel Mack. She went that extra mile to ensure that she was able to offer me exactly what I wanted from my river cruise choice. I had many questions and requirements which she dealt with in a friendly, helpful manner whilst remaining professional at all times. It was a pleasure to deal with her, she is a credit to APT.

Fabulous boat, wonderfull holiday.
Fabulous boat, immaculately maintained, excellent ports of call, enthusiastic and informative Tour Director, plenty of food and drink, ( though served by less than enthusiastic staff, no eye contact, little rapport ). Overall, an exceptionally good trip. We would strongly recommend APT to anyone considering a small motor yacht cruise.,

Douro river cruise
First ever river cruise and it didn't disappoint!! The Douro Valley is stunning and the scenery changed so much from lush vineyards to the emptiness of the plateau and mountains in spain and the border area of Portugal. The trips were interesting and varies and very well organised with excellent local guides. The staff on the ship were helpful, friendly and very professional. Just being on the river and drifting through the valleys and gorges was so tranquil and relaxing.

Apart from flights and airports the…
Apart from flights and airports the cruise was first class.the airports and flights were a joke, waiting past take off time for an hour for one passenger was ridiculous and once landing in schipol it took longer than flight to get to terminal and at meeting point no one could find the agent to meet us, I asked several people with clipboards and they never heard of you. But the cruise and staff were amazing, couldn’t do enough for you, it was the best you could get. …. ThankYou again for a first class cruise!

Good cruise, but fell short of expectations
The Douro is beautiful and the trip was enjoyable, we were somewhat disappointed with the cabin, it was smaller than we expected with little space between the bed and the “balcony” window. The main reason for the low mark though was the food, it could only be described as average and way below what we have experienced on other cruises. The coach trips were good and our guide Bruno was excellent

Bad food and drink
Had a great cruise with three major problems The food was only average and the breakfasts poor Totally repetitive Wine provided for all Meals were always the same with no choice Thought white wine poor Great shame as Croatian wines are good Paid top rate for cabin but right by start up engines despite being told before high rate was to avoid engines Have written in to complain Still awaiting reply Regards Michael Reik

It was our first Apt river cruise. Our experience was very good and the staff excellent. We would travel with APT again, cost permitting. Trips were good and necessary to expand the experience, however it would be good to have a little longer in port.
