I spoke with Jane in the call centre and got all the help and support I needed! And she told me about other help that was available that I didn’t even know about - absolutely brilliant!

Constant problems with no water can't replace the pipes but can pay their shareholders

Entering day 4 without mains water. No end in sight. Apparently they can’t find the cause of the supply failure.

OK... just spoken to an advisor.. he was friendly and helpful... I've previously had some poor experiences with this lot, but todays call was good.... I firmly believe that water companies should be re-nationalised due to a lack of competition
Thank you for all the support on recent issues, handled amazingly well by all of the customer service team I spoke with through to the engineers that turned up at my home to fix the problems.
Received a letter to say we had higher usage than expected and we may want to check for leaks. A useful guide was sent to help us check if it was the supply or within our property. Having followed everything through we found our toilet cistern had been leaking but into the toilet so had not picked it up. Repair done, submitted new readings as directed when first made aware and we have no received a credit to our bill! Really impressed!
We have received several correspondence by mail from Anglian Water telling us that we have a leak and that it’s equivalent to 1 litre every hour. This is a significant amount yet we have been through the whole house, removed bath panels, checked toilets and the loft and cannot find a leak, there is no signs of water stains on our ceilings or anything, we even had our plumber out and he confirmed that there was no internal visible leak. After contacting Anglian water by phone they told us that their system registered the letter by saying it was a small leak and that I must be wrong with what it said. I even read out their letter but they still accused me wrong. I then asked for a manager which took several attempts, eventually after speaking to a manager she agreed that letters sent out to customers do not match statements on their system and confirmed that this is an issue. I raised a complaint by email and confirmation was received saying that they would investigate and a response would be forth coming no later than 24th of May. To date no response has been received to my complaint and I have given them until Friday 7th June to reply afterwhich the matter will be raised with Ofwat. These companies are quick to take our money and yet provide such poor services, shame their customers are not treated in the same way as their shareholders What gives them the right to send out frightening letters saying they have a leak yet their system states something totally different
My sister is 65 who waited all day for their engineer to turn up. We confirmed the appointment several times and they have the audacity to call at 5pm and tell us the appointment was not booked properly. And such a rude and arrogant rep called, you could tell they don't care.
The recent price rises are sickening. They have also requested to raise the prices even more.
Absolutely disgusting service, I have a flood in my garden which may reach the house, I was told within 6 hours someone would be here we are now nearly 12 hours and I've had no update, instead I got told in the morning if the water reaches into my house due to their drains I will have to go through insurance. Absolutely disgraceful that they have not come out to prevent this happening.
Moved home as a customer and to a house they were already supplying. I've been trying to get in touch so I can pay them but can't seem to get anywhere. They did the call back thing and it's a machine that put me on hold forever. I'm doing everything by the book but they can't get it together. I have a smart meter and the app and it should have been super easy. But of course they don't care because I'm actually unable to switch due to unhinged laws meaning I have no choice in provider. Shocking company, shocking government, what a mess the boomers have made of this country.
Total rip off paying £100 per month for a family of 4, that doesn't even spend time at home. Total scammers. Avoid if you can.
The worst service in the world!!! When is time to pay bills, they find you in a snake hole. When to do their job and fix problems, they are never available. The biggest regret is that anglian water is the only one supplier in the country.
They never listen get pushed pilla to post with drainage system never their responsibility high prices rip off rates avoid at all costs of ANYTHING with Anglian water
We were experiencing low water in the Leighton Buzzard area (Hockliffe) for more than 6months. The situation progressively got worse with dishwasher not washing properly and washing machine showing error messages due to low water input…. and so I contacted Anglian Water (and so did loads of neighbours who were in similar situations). They sent a technician to measure the pressure but he was unable to as our pipes were very old. They also confirmed the water pressure in the area dropped because Anglian Water purposefully. So the team schedule engineers to come over and replace the pipes to be able to obtain a reading. The reading revealed that we were at almost half of the required pressure by law… which was not ideal to say the least…!! The reason for this was that AW decided to reduce the water pressure in the area (and shift it to the 10,000 new houses being built around the area!). What I can say and the reason why I am posting this review is that, from the moment the water pressure was measured, AW resolved the issue by digging up the road and connecting us to the mains, and placed tarmac, all within the same day. The workers genuinely worked really hard at it, from 4 pm until late, and even helped me unload a set of furniture from my car. These lads came in, fixed the issue, and helped me trust Anglian Water in getting things done when they need to. Thanks so much
Anglian Water the west company ever made my credit report bad because of missed payment only two times and now it’s in default on my ClearScore it will not come off until six months I will never recommend Anglian Water to anyone even my family members
Why are Anglian Water paying to advertise on TV when we can't choose water company. They should be spending that money on fixing the rivers of thier pollution.
Awful customer service. Totally unhelpful. Says we have 190 litre leak in 24 hours every day since they fitted a smart meter. Nearly a month on they not helpful point blank say its our internal plumbing no sign of leak. Old analogue meter did not pick up leak so why now. Finally have someone coming round in 2 weeks time to check meter. Very rude very arrogant.
The price rise of ANGLIAN WATER is disgraceful, on top of being one of the dearest water companies in the UK.
Anglian Water reference number 25591979 Reported problem with sewer overflowing yesterday. Promised response..2nd May..that’s right 2nd May ! Tried to escalate..sorry can’t help but will call you back in 24 hours. Today the kitchen sink is backing up. My wife and I are 77 and 80 years old respectively. This is a disgraceful service level in anyone’s opinion. We have just received a price increase. How can a company delivering this kind of service continue ? It’s an absolute disgrace.
Poor overall performance
Useless and a rip off. Sky high bills and yet again no water supply because they’re digging up the road (again) to supposedly repair the water main that they repaired last year. And so it goes on…
