I do not have wifi and not computer savvy. I thought I specified that I wanted it in hard copy form. I have no way to print forms. I probably forgot and just thought I requested. Just like when we reply to a text and never hit send and don't realize it until you see you never heard back. Lawd, well, thank you for your assistance. I would love this information sent via usps. Thank you for your time on this matter. God Bless TAMI BACKSTROM
I was bought this as a Christmas gift. It was so easy to do and lots of fun finding out about my ancestors. I have 3 siblings and shared the details with them. It sparked lots of conversations between us and some interesting questions too!
Very minimal info and not really worth the money.
The first time I did my DNA Test it was gifted to me by my sister and under her account. However I started my family tree and recently re-did my DNA. Just got my results back it was slightly different from the first submission about 10 years ago. However, I was amazed to see how many family connections there are well I’m still learning to read the actual results. I wanted to know how the breakdown goes with how family are related from close relatives to fourth cousins, etc. etc. looking forward to learning more and sharing with not only my generations, but future generations as well
I have no clue how to see or how to search things. It’s so confusing from what I paid for and what you are trying to additionally sell me.
overall great and fast processing.
I haven’t received any ancestor info. I’m looking for the past. I already know about cousin Steve Hoeffner
I found useful information on where my ancestors came from in Scotland. - There was information on what happened to some of my Scottish relatives. Their names were in a bible that I ended up with. The Bible was over a 100 years old. - I have enjoyed receiving information on some of my personality traits and which parent they came from. One of the latest traits comes from my father: determination!!!
They kept me informed about the process as it went along. I appreciated that. However I disagree with the results. And would like to talk with someone about this. My Italian ancestors can be traced back to the 1600 in the northwestern part of Italy. There is no mention of Italian blood but Spain is mentioned and no history of any ancestors from there.
This site is a waste of time. The information provided is incorrect and Ancestry wants to charge me additional money to correct it. Furthermore, to advance thru the pages requires codes--which the system deems incorrect. Sorry I wasted my time and money.
Ancestry is a trap designed to cause each individual to waste years re-verifying documentation that others have already verified, sorting through garbage that they know is garbage, being forced to examine documents in an extremely cumbersome way, not being able to search for individuals by name in the trees of DNA matches, etc. It is a giant time suck that is meant to enhance monthly revenue flows to Ancestry.com. Research that could be done in months will require the rest of your life with the accompanying monthly fees. Eventually, a user friendly competitor will put them out of business.
Ich habe die Mitgliedschaft ordnungsgemäß per mail gekündigt. Es gab keine Bestätigung und Ancestry bucht einfach weiter ab.
Very much a waste of time sadly. Had to wait an age and eventually what I got was next to nothing! Obviously if I want to subscribe to the site I would get a lot more. This has told me absolutely nothing sadly
So for I feel you are trying to giving my experience expert analysis. I hope to hear results from your DNA Results. If you have problems relaying information to me Please mail it to me. Judy McCullough
Still learning, learned a little. But still not answering where the other half of who i am came from. Want to know my medical side of paternal & if I have siblings. As something I've always wanted, since grown up an only child.
I sent my test kit on june 4th ,2025. Today is July 27th.Never got the report.
I took a 23 and Me Kit as well as a My Ancestry DNA well I think 23 and Me was more accurate than the My Ancestry kit because the 23 and Me gave me a trace ancestry as well as a unassigned DNA. That’s something that my ancestry fell to do.
So much information is available!! It's is awesome!
I did this for my 92 year old aunt . It was so cool
