Our experience with ALTA is always positive. We hosted 8 meetings in 2024 with ALTA for French support and their representative is always prepared and enthused to support our meetings with foreign language speakers. We will continue to book support with ALTA in 2025!

Tony Wentzel helped me every step of the way - he provided guidance, sent out quick quotes/revisions, and remained flexible as the scope of my project changed throughout its development. The translation was 100% accurate and delivered to us quickly in multiple file formats based on our needs. We will be back.
Alta is good company . Communication is good , But basic problem is that they have UNPROFESSIONAL INTERPRETERS . So if you want your loss due unprofessional & Illiterate interpreters them you can go with them .
I am a very accomplished American Sign Language interpreter, founder of the country’s largest on-site language service Fluent Language Solutions (sold), and in private practice. After 30 years, I’ve seen a thing or two and I know good when I see it. ALTA is good! They happily do what they say, and they get it right - what more could you want?

I would like the ratings to better align with the ACTFL proficiency guidelines. This would allow us to use more of your test data to assess whether students are eligible for Credit by Exam. I also wish there were more time slots available immediately after school, so students wouldn't have to wait 1.5 to 2 hours to take the speaking portion of their test.
I liked the live call-in option of speaking that was available. I also liked the quick turn around of scoring. The help desk was also knowledgeable. I disliked the way the default keyboard worked or did not at times. Due to the times test, my Danish student was not able to get all her keyboard corrections made. She knew it was going to cause her to have a lower score, and it did. I had to have an IT involved to help the keyboard strokes to hold. Also, my state needs the grade level on the report.
Customer support does not answer phone calls and email issues are not responded to until the next day, and when in the system needing help does no good. Applicants reported inappropriate questions and when asked about them, ALTA placed the blame back on the them without checking. We pulled all remaining tests and now must find another company to retest and verify the validity of their results since we do not trust what we received.
