Muy buena comunicación entre Alta y yo como cliente. Me mantuvieron informada, me brindaron la información necesaria y su intérprete muy competente y profesional. Hicieron un buen trabajo. Lo único que no me habían aclarado es que de haber una demora al inicio del servicio corría por mi cuenta. Todo fue aclarado y quedé satisfecha con ustedes. Sin duda los recomiendo.
We had difficulty connecting with the Danish evaluator. Even after finally agreeing on a time, she forgot the appointment and someone from ALTA had to call her privately to get her on the phone. We were, however, able to successfully complete the phone interview.
The phone testing is a good option but maybe better equipment. Everyone who has taken your phone tests talks about how they can't hear the tester very well.
I loved the variety of languages offered. We were able to award our first TWI Seal of Biliteracy thanks to your testing this year! I also loved the ease of scheduling and test taking. The only downside, was the lack of accessiblity tools for students in the writing section of the test. My kiddos took the exam in Twi but struggled to get the keyboard to type two specific characters required for typing in Twi. In other language assessments that we use, there is a drop down of language specific characters that helps with this issue. I wish that was available here. It was a stressful situation for our kiddos who were already nervous about taking the test.
I think ALTA language services is great. Their account sign up process and access to testing is smooth and easy to understand. I sense that the language evaluators were fair and very competent. I am amazed that they design language assessments for less commonly spoken languages. Very grateful for that.
This was my first time using the ALTA system and I had many questions regarding the platform. I was able to arrange a phone call conference with a representative who was extremely helpful as well as patient with me and my many questions. I needed additional follow up assistance and the ALTA team was very responsive and continued to support my needs all along the way, ultimately allowing for successful testing of our candidate. As the employer, super easy to set up so employees can test/use their service. Employees said it was challenging! This service meets the OHA requirements so it is great for our clinics.

ALTA support was very helpful when ever I had questions. There responses were quick. The only thing is that it is not very user friendly when setting up students or adding exams. I have to contact support in order for them to add a test.

Alta makes it easy to register someone to take the test and offers many different languages which is helpful. I will say that the employees taking the test comment that the questions being asked during testing are a little intrusive as they are asking the employees opinions on different topics. Makes the employee think they are being judged on their answer versus how they are communicating.
