We are new to using this service, but our experiences so far have been great! We have had no problem with the availability of accuracy of the available translators and look forward to using ALTA for the foreseeable future.
We needed a last minute interpreter for a couple of confidential HR meetings - I called ALTA and they were able to help me get someone set up. It was a very easy process and we provided the "Join" info for the Teams meetings and they called in. Everything went smoothly we will definitely be using this service again!

Everyone was so helpful at ALTA. First, I received a courtesy call to make sure I didn't have any questions before administering my first test. Then, when my student had trouble with the keyboard for the online written test, ALTA was so kind and cancelled the test, so that she could take the paper test instead. We didn't get charged for the incomplete test. Whenever I called to talk to someone, they were extremely friendly and helpful. Our first testing experience with ALTA was awesome! Thank you all for your help and courtesy!

Used ALTA for a quick turnaround on translating business cards. Before printing, had someone whose native language is Korean review, and they had several suggested changes. I think what was provided by ALTA was technically correct, but not exactly how it should have been written for business writing.
I took their 40 hour interpreter course, and the course itself was very self explanatory and easy to navigate. Just yesterday, I had a customer service issue with one of their staff members as I called to try to resolve a matter. After my phone call I felt like I had not received any help and also felt accused and disbelieved. As soon as I got off the phone, in my burst of frustration I sent an email out to them complaining of the service I had received. I was reacting to my emotions and was probably more explosive and less polite than I should have been. Stephanie responded right away, she was extremely courteous and helpful, and just the understanding tone of her email made me feel better. After her email I felt like I was believed and given credit for my frustration. She resolved the problem and made me feel like a respected and valued customer. Dealing with people is not easy and I really appreciate the ability of a company to value their customers and be eager to resolve any misunderstandings that may occur. There was a fee involved and I offered to pay it, however, she insisted on waiving the fee as a courtesy even though it was not their responsibility. We're humans and problems happen, it's the ability to make things right that makes a difference. I really give them credit for coming through, listening to my complaints, and going above and beyond to make things right. I recommend the course to any medical interpreter wanting to expand their knowledge and obtain a certificate. This is a company that you know someone will be there for you in case you have any obstacles along the way.
