Reliable staff
I took their 40 hour interpreter course, and the course itself was very self explanatory and easy to navigate. Just yesterday, I had a customer service issue with one of their staff members as I called to try to resolve a matter. After my phone call I felt like I had not received any help and also felt accused and disbelieved. As soon as I got off the phone, in my burst of frustration I sent an email out to them complaining of the service I had received. I was reacting to my emotions and was probably more explosive and less polite than I should have been. Stephanie responded right away, she was extremely courteous and helpful, and just the understanding tone of her email made me feel better. After her email I felt like I was believed and given credit for my frustration. She resolved the problem and made me feel like a respected and valued customer. Dealing with people is not easy and I really appreciate the ability of a company to value their customers and be eager to resolve any misunderstandings that may occur. There was a fee involved and I offered to pay it, however, she insisted on waiving the fee as a courtesy even though it was not their responsibility. We're humans and problems happen, it's the ability to make things right that makes a difference. I really give them credit for coming through, listening to my complaints, and going above and beyond to make things right. I recommend the course to any medical interpreter wanting to expand their knowledge and obtain a certificate. This is a company that you know someone will be there for you in case you have any obstacles along the way.
