I needed a last minute translator for an appointment the next day. Ashley called me back after hours to make sure I got the paperwork I needed to have an interpreter on the phone for my patient. The are always friendly and on time when we call. I would certainly use this service again for future translation services.

The whole process was pretty quick and painless. Sent them the PDF of something that need translation. They sent me a quote. I approved. I had my translated PDF shortly after that. I don't use this type of service often, in fact it was my first time using any translating service. ALTA did the job well.
Our first candidate struggled to get the phone test to work. I was able to schedule a live test that ended up working. Our second candidate was able to take the test through the first test set up. Both candidates haven't worked with us long enough to validate their fluency.

Great service, and price
I was not aware of the automated phone interview. That can be a significant benefit when scheduling kids who are not always dependable with attendance. The scoring of both the assessments is very timely. The process to get, assign, and process the tests is very easy. It was frustrating that if a student doesn't show for a phone interview we get charged. But, when the Alta person doesn't show there is no credit to our account for wasted time on our end. Doesn't seem fair.

Amber made the process in getting my document translated very easy and was always available to answer my questions.
I contacted ALTA with a short turn around time and was able to schedule a translator to attend an IME. Translator was secured electroncially, service was easy, professional, and quick. This is the first time I have had to find lanauge coverage and I def picked the right company. Services were also affordable.
The last two times we used Alta, we conducted a prescheduled Tagalog interpreter session over Zoom and did not realize the interpreter was calling in from Canada and our Zoom blocked Canada. Once we were made aware, we added Canada and sent a new link, but still the interpreter could not log in. We had to use Google Meet, but by then it was an hour later and had to email back and forth with Alta to figure this out. Then we tried to use ASL on demand and no interpreters were available every time we tried.
