Great hotel and ease of local pick-ups but the quality of the company in regard to comfort on the coach leaves a lot to be desired! Non stop Abba music played very loudly and recording of a comedian who was shamefully offensive, racist and sexist. I did complain but the letter back said " we can't please everyone"! Hmmm... like it or lump it attitude! So, no more travelling with this company I'm afraid! There is obviously no standards set by them in regard to their coach drivers and their choice of "entertainment" which needs to be seriously looked at. At the end of the day, the customers have no escape from whatever is selected (sadly, coaches are yet to have headphones etc unlike other coach companies) so isn't it best not to play anything at all? Again, this was not touched upon in my response so I don't hold out there is any hope of this company moving forward in the foreseeable future. :-(

Lovely holiday itinerary and Ayre Hotel in Kirkwall was superb (overnight hotel on 1st night-not so much) Local guide was very knowledgeable with many humorous quips and personal tales. We benefitted from being in a small coach party which meant we all got to know each other quicker with less waiting about boarding/leaving coach. Our weather too was gorgeous 😍 Ron the driver had been called in at short notice and navigated our route confidently and safely. He was also very courteous and helpful especially to those less able in our party.

Me and my wife were due to go to Eastbourne on the 29/9/24 for a week. But due to Unforseen circamstances we couldn't go. The reason being our Daughter was taken into Hospital for an Emergency Operation. Thanks to the not so symaphtetic staff at Alfa Travel, we asked if we could transfer the holiday to next year (Not a Refund) Their answer was No they said this was policy. No sympathy or any help from them just No At this moment in time 1/10/24 our Daughter is still in hospital and we are looking after her 2 children which are aged 14 months old and 14 yrs old. Thanks Alfa travel for being so sympathetic and Caring. Mr&Mrs Goldstraw. Wont be Traveling with Alfa ever again !

Excellent coach travel and driver Gareth was very good at giving clear instruction and information on the places we visited.

We enjoyed our holiday at Eastbourne and the room we had at hotel was lovely.Our coach driver was not that good, first he was 3/4 hour late and we had to phone head office up to see if it was coming.Then when he got to our stop he drove right past as and another passenger on the coach had to tell him we was there so he went round our town again and then picked us up.We was not happy with him.

I enjoyed the holiday as a whole. It was a thoroughly enjoyable 5 day break. Outward and return travel was excellent and the days out from the resort were good. The facilities at the Hotel were good. The food was satisfactory, although the quality and standard of the evening meal main courses could have been better.

Lovely coach driver, very knowledgeable and friendly. Staff at the hotel were very helpful and were on hand 24/7. Really enjoyed my trip away.

Great booking hotel and staff 1st class

Our driver dave was very knowledgeable on our trips out and helped the elderly best that he could also our waiter from Ukraine mykinos looked out for us very attentively plus other staff members were helpful we had a very enjoyable 7 says

Welsh Boarders very nice hotel excellent food good choice. Enjoyed help yourself breakfast good choice and food pipping hot.

We travel every year with Alpha but this last trip was not up to usual standard .The hotel was very disappointing with the meals were poor and the choices were limiting.The rooms were clean but tired and the beds very uncomfortable, staff were pleasant but did not go out of their way to accommodate the complaints. Trip to Aran was cancelled due to the ferries this could not be blamed on Alpha who gave us a good alternative. Driver was very knowledgeable and did a good job under the circumstances.

we had a wonderful holiday, everything went to plan. the hotel "HYDRA " was amazing. the room was first class ,the dining experience was the best with amazing staff to look after us as individuals. the coach driver was very good, although, his days did not go to plan. the changeover at Tamworth was interesting to watch how it was performed. we did think that the coach seating was rather cramped. never the less ,a great holiday.

Brilliant from start to finish The only down fall was the soup was watery at the metropole not like any other hotels

Location &trips good ,the driver Wayne was excellent ,(nothing too much trouble)overall an enjoyable experience

The Hydro never fails to please. Everything from the staff, room, especially the food and excellent entertainment. Our driver Martin was one of the best, always cheerful and helpful. We go every year and never a complaint.
