Aitken Real Estate Reviews

Unbelievably well informed staff and lawyers.

An outstanding result that proves the system that Aitken Real Estate uses to get the best result for the sale of a property. This is the 5th Property that I have been involved in selling and has been by far the best experience I have had in selling a house. We engaged Aitken Real Estate because we were looking for a relatively stress free and proven process to sell my parents’ home on behalf of all other family members, to get the best possible price. Because of the restrictive covenants and title structure, the sale of the property was not straight forward. This required a strong team effort and commitment to ensure that the property was sold with honesty and integrity which Steve managed with superb expertise and understanding. Steve Aitken managed the process for us with ultimate professionalism. Steve's straight forward and honest approach made it very clear how the sale was being conducted, and we were given accurate feedback every step of the way The communication from Steve was very clear, prompt and importantly very honest - a trait seldom seen amongst the real estate industry! It was a real pleasure to deal with Steve and the result speaks for itself. A huge thanks to Steve and the team at Aitken Real Estate.

My wife and I recently entrusted the sale of our two bedroom unit in Cheltenham to Steve Aitken of Aitken Real Estate and our experience with Steve exceeded our expectations. We chose to privately sell rather than go to auction upon Steves advice and trusted him to work at achieving the best possible price, without the uncertainty of an auction. We were absolutely delighted at the final sale price Steve achieved within a timely period, considering that the market was starting to plateau with interest rates on the rise. We were also delighted when Steve told us there were no advertising fees. Our decision to avoid auctions was based upon our attendance at many auctions as observers only to see them passed in. We can't thank Steve and Aitken Real Estate enough for exceeding our expectations and highly recommend Aitken Real Estate for potential sellers.

Steve Aitken was a pleasure to deal with. He is caring, honest and extremely ethical in his approach. My Cheltenham unit was on the market for a week and sold within that time frame. Steve's inspections are by appointment only and after each one he rang me immediately telling about the outcomes. Steve made my moving easier suggesting ethical skip hire and removalist companies. I cannot recommend Steve Aitken and his agency highly enough. Would give six stars if I could. Peter Walters

Steve Aitken’s professional and caring approach made the sale of our property feel completely under control from the moment we acquired his services right through to sale. His years of experience in real estate really show and we appreciated this knowledge as a navigated an increasingly difficult property market. He’s a family man and all round great human being and he’s welcome in our home any time. I could not recommend Aitken Real Estate enough. If you are looking for expert and trustworthy assistance in selling your home you couldn’t do any better than Steve Aitken.

Stephen was amazing!! He helped me purchase my very first home with ease and so quickly too! I had been looking for nearly a year and as soon as I found the place I loved Stephen made it happen! So grateful for how lovely he has been throughout this whole process :)

Steve Aitken’s real estate agency is recommended by us without hesitation. Steve lead us through the sale process with true professionalism, courtesy and attention to detail. With private inspections and his unique silent bid process, we were able to leave all the stress and negotiation for him to manage. From start to finish and beyond Steve went out if his way to communicate with us in a calm and reassuring way, never losing site of the end goal… which was a successful sale in a reasonable time with a price we were happy with. As an agent he is ethical, conscientious and completely trustworthy. Thankyou so much Steve, we couldn’t have asked for anything more than you delivered.

The first time we met Stephen we knew he was the agent to sell our home, he was aproachable, friendly & always avaliable to answer our questions & walk us through the hole process. Within a few days of our first inspection we got a good offer & sold shortly afterward. We sincerely wish to thank Stephen & look forward to using his services in the future Kathleen & Ross egerton

After meeting with some Real Estate companies, we found there was a lot of hard selling and pressure to go with them. We felt overwhelmed and didn't know who to go with and most of all who to trust to do the best for their client. I remembered I had a book in my library. I found "Aitken Real Estate's" business card inside the cover, so I called Stephen. Immediately I felt his honesty and integrity straight away. Stephen kept us informed all the way. Anyone going to sell a property you will not find anyone better. I will be using him again and I have no hesitation in recommending him to other potential sellers. I cannot speak highly enough of Aitken Real Estate. I am going to give Aitken Real Estate 10 stars for their excellence. A big thank you to everyone. Beverley Lord

The whole selling process is just amazing! We engaged Aitken Real Estate to advise and then sell our substantial property in Cheltenham. Stephen Aitken had successfully completed the sale with an outstanding result in only 11 days with no Vendor paid advertising or open for inspections in a difficult environment. We would highly recommend Stephen and Aitken Real Estate if you are selling. ！

We are very glad we chose Aitken Real Estate to sell our unit. The model they use totally suited the uncertain times we are living in (Coronavirus) by having appointment only inspections and private bidding. This worked very well. Steve has been attentive and a very good communicator, stepping us through the process, giving us regular updates and advice as needed. We are very satisfied with the sale price and extremely happy to recommend (Stephen) Aitken Real Estate agents.

In 2015 Aitken Real Estate sold my parent’s much loved family home in Bentleigh. Because of that positive and stress free experience we recently returned to Aitkens in order to sell our own beloved home of nearly 40 years. Steve Aitken managed the negotiations for the sale and proved once again that his unmatched experience as a real estate practitioner is an absolute advantage. Steve is straight-forward and honest, respects his clients and kept us updated as to how matters were proceeding. He understood that selling a family home is a challenging time and his advice and confidence were very reassuring. There are no separate advertising charges and we were delighted with the sale price that Steve Aitken obtained for us. In both our sales it was very clear from the beginning that Aitken Real Estate was working for the best outcome for us. If anyone is looking for a real estate agent with personal integrity, depth of experience and a great outcome then go no further than Aitken Real Estate in Cheltenham.

WOW was (Aitken Real Estates) introduction to my Property For Sale Advertisement. WOW! was my response when the property sold in 14days with no hassles. Steve Aitken proved to be a very astute, no-nonsense and realistic agent whom I could trust and respect to do the right thing.I would highly recommend Aitken Real Estate to any prospective buyer or seller. a A most satisfied client. After being the victims of shady business ethics by a well-know and established local real estate in Mentone, we will forever be thankful for meeting Sarah Neilson from Aitken Real Estate. Sarah was amazing. She was supportive and understanding of the negative experiences we had with other real estate agents and worked hard to quickly re-build our trust. Through the whole process, Sarah was honest and we felt she always had our back. Sarah is a miracle-worker. Her humanity and ethics means she can get the right price for her seller while supporting the buyer is getting the right property at the right price. She's a magician and we will forever be thankful to her for helping us buy our first home.

After a long search in Bayside for a new family home, we were fortunate enough to have come across Danielle, the Aitken Real Estate team and a beautiful home in "Beaui". I have dealt with A LOT of Bayside agents and I can honestly say that Danielle is one of only three authentic "straight shooters". No smoke, no mirrors, no mystery offers with no price and no stories of previous fly-away offers. The method used by Aitken rewards vendors and purchasers that do their homework and know the market. Aitken boards are up for a short time for a reason; they move property through pairing realistic vendors with realistic purchasers. Thanks Danielle.

Danielle recently helped my family sell my grandparents' house. I'm so grateful for her diligence and support, keeping us informed of any new developments regarding the sale and her perseverance through at times difficult situations regarding issues out of our control. I don't know what we would have done without her! My family and I highly recommend her services. The Waite Family.

THANK YOU Dani and Stephen!! A note to thank you and Aitken Real Estate for selling Baringhup Street Cheltenham in a challenging market. - it was great working with you for a second time during the sale process and we were happy with the overall outcome. We would be delighted to recommend Aitken Real Estate to anyone selling.

Right from our first meeting I was confident that we had chosen the right agent for the sale of our mothers house. Both Danielle and Steve were honest and upfront about the market and price and although we listed at a tricky time just before Christmas Danielle has gone above our expectations and always had our best interest at the forefront. I would highly recommend Aitken Real Estate to any potential sellers. Thanks Danielle for making this such a seemless process and for getting us a great outcome for Mum.

We recently purchase a property through Danielle and we could not have been happier. Throughout the entire process she was honest, caring, constantly kept us informed. Nothing was ever too much trouble and she has truly been a delight to deal with. We have been looking to purchase a property in the area for months and in turn have deal with many agents. Hands down Danielle has by far been the best agent we have dealt with in ever respect. Couldn’t recommend highly enough. Thanks you Danielle and Aitken Real Eatate.

Aitken was the first agent i approached having never sold a property previously..... and literally did not look any further. My situation was delicate, but i could not have gotten through it without Danielle's extraordinary skill and professionalism. She was is extremely efficient, prompt, kind, empathetic and knowledgeable. I trusted her 100 percent and s totally adored dealing with her. Would recommend her in a heartbeat.
